I’d love to know who Bettor X is. That person cleaned up with all 5kse big Philly bets.
With balls that big, I’m guessing it has to be Doug Pederson.

I don’t blame him. While it was a cool story, I don’t see why the books had to post about it.

Floyd Mayweather probably bet millions. That's chump change for him. Though he's known to be a lousy gambler.

For those getting all excited about landing Patriots assistants here are the records for all of Belichick's assistants in the NFL as head coaches. 6 of 7 have losing records. The one who doesn't last one year as a HC.

Groh 9-7
O'Brien 31-33
Mangini 33-47
Saban 15-17
McDaniels 11-17
Crennel 28-55
Schwartz 29-51

Combined Record 156-227 (.407)

Think of a running back going up and over the pile just to extend the ball over goal line. The instant that hapoens, it’s a TD. Same thing applies here.
Controlling the ball to the ground only applies to a receiver during the act of the catch.
Once you make the catch, then proceed to make a “football move”(basically 2 steps) you then become a runner. All a runner needs to do is have the very tip of the ball break the plane of the goal line.
Collinsworth was too big a Pats fan(just like the rest of the planet) to see that.
No, what I missed was that the ball did hit the ground before Ertz reclaimed it. My memory was that the ball never touched the ground, period.

So, seeing that now, I do have to go with the "Was he a runner, or a one-and-done-er?" camp discussion.

I think McDaniels is going to do a really good job with the Colts.

I wish the NFL would make BD's of all previous Super Bowls. That'd be pretty nice.

I would buy it in a heartbeat. I'm fairly sure no film exists of the first Super Bowl though. It wasn't broadcast and the only film I'm aware of for it is some guy who filmed most of it, the film being in some sort of legal limbo.

It actually was broadcast & is the only SB to be on 2 networks CBS & NBC since they couldnt decide who should get it.
Someone had a copy like you said that i think they had in their house of alot of the game but not all of it & NFLN did air it.
But yea the actual entire game is gone since networks didnt save things like that back then.
