Except the Broncos Say what you will about Tebow's mechanics but he found a way to win games. Lot of teams in the NFL should be so lucky (definitely at least one team...).

Well right, I'm sure PIT wasn't happy about that playoff game, but he wasn't winning you games with his arm.

I always thought the Jags should have given him a chance in 2013. He couldn't have done worse than Chad Henne or Blaine Gabbert, and fan interest in the team would have never been higher as Tebow is practically a god in Florida.

Jags should've drafted him, if for no other reason than boosting ticket sales with the homegrown Heisman winner under center.

Tim Tebow is the biggest scam ever at QB, how he was a 1st round pick we will never know.

Teams didn’t build around him or give him time.

There’s been far bigger scams though.

I see what you did there!

Believe me I was upset when he turned Indy down, not looking forward to the McDaniel's era and hoping it never materializes.

I have no idea if McDaniels will ever be a successful head coach but his failure in Denver is just as much on the Broncos as McDaniels. You can blame McDaniels for drafting Tebow but why did a 34-year-old coach have the authority to decide who the team picked? Who gives a first time coach final say on personnel, especially considering he was coming from a team where he had virtually no say in personnel? It's also not like the Broncos passed on some other great QB to get Tebow. 2010 will go down as one of the worst QB drafts in NFL history.

I still don't think McDaniels was a bad coach. He made mistakes - definitely. But you learn from those mistakes. How many other coaches have been fired and keep getting other coaching jobs? Tebow wasn't terrible, but the system and players have to belong in the system. Can't just plug in a guy and expect great things.

Cowboys LB Jaylon Smith has not worn his ankle-foot orthosis during OTAs.

Smith wore the brace last season to help with the drop-foot condition he picked up as a result of nerve damage from his 2016 knee injury. He apparently no longer needs the brace, however, and says he feels better than ever. "Everything just feels better, from my emotion to my quickness to my explosiveness to my overall knowledge of the game," Smith said. "I feel more free, being able to move truly, if you will." With Smith seemingly coming back better and first-rounder Leighton Vander Esch added to the mix, the Cowboys have the makings of a solid linebacker corps.

During Timmy's wins the Broncos gave up 14 points less per game than under Orton, and contrary to popular belief Tebow was not a time of possession monster, the Broncos TOP was basically identical under Tebow and Orton.

Two years prior when Orton started 6-0 including beating the Patriots, nobody was spinning "Man, Orton just knows how to win games!"

Tebow was a QB who was little more than a bus driver at the head of a great defense, and lucked into this story because people really really wanted to believe in him because of his character, in spite of his utter lack of anything resembling NFL talent(at QB anyway).

I still wish Tebow would have switched to Tight End, but his pride would not let him.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said there are no long-term concerns for Clay Matthews (nose).

Matthews took a comebacker to the face in a charity softball game over the weekend. Luckily, he only suffered a broken nose, although the injury will require surgery this week. Matthews should be ready to training camp.

This is the time of year when players do stupid things like take a ball to the face or get wasted at their buddy's house.
