All of this firing Gruden talk is crazy. As stated by someone else in the thread, his plan, which had to have been signed off on by Davis, is to build his own team, it's obvious come on guys. It's ugly as hell and an F U to the Oakland fans but the plan is to be good and compete, or be on that general track, once they are in Vegas. He's not going anywhere but it's gonna be very ugly and hard to watch for the next season or two.

This has to be the plan from the front office. No other explanation.

Rumors are that he, essentially, is the front office. Davis has to sign off but McKenzie has little to no say anymore.
It's funny because before the season started my local radio show one of the hosts was saying from the get go that this is what Gruden and the Raiders were going to do and everyone laughed him off. Then the Mack trade happened and people were still like "no Gruden made that move because they were never going to be able to re-sign him to the contract he would demand" and then they start losing, then the Cooper trade happens and suddenly everyone is on the same page that the tank is in. I just feel bad for the fans in Oakland. I think everyone thought the franchise would give them a bit of a better send off rather than limp out of town like they seem to be doing.

That field had some serious drainage issues last night. I can’t imagine how it will look after another game today.

Is it just me, or do all of the pregame shows seem so boring now. I used to love them and had a hard time deciding which one to go with. Now I just watch something else most of the time until the game starts. College Gameday still seems like a lot of fun though.
