Act or not.....he still donated money. As far as the mother situation, there is obviously some deep rooted problems within that family and he is distancing himself because of it. Is it because he makes/has made a lot of money and they keep nagging him for a share of it (this is pure speculation on my part). He's been very quiet about the situation while the family (mostly the brother) has painted him out to be the faulty one. But still, he contributed something to the relief efforts when he doesn't have to. Pretty shitty thing to bring up on the brothers part if you ask me.
