It's been over 40 years since they won the Super Bowl, but they made Super Bowl appearances in the 80's and had some really good teams with Marino after that. But yes, its been about 20 years since they had a really good team. They've only recently been really bad. They were always fun to watch until lately. I can't quit them though. Go Dolphins!

Dallas is half way to that number, and will be for the foreseeable future, so not that good either.

Keep telling ya, it’s not the coach, it’s the GM. Garret is just one in a string of puppets after Jimmy. That’s why no big names will ever go there. Parcells, after his shelf life had expired, tried and that was a disaster for him.
Until Jerruh fires the GM, the odds are Dallas will be average to maybe a little above.
Jerruh is great at making Dallas a brand but not at talent evaluations. Not consistently.
But hey, as a division rival I’m all for Jerruh and his ego!

Lincoln Riley would help, his offensive mind would probably be a lot better for our young trio of Prescott, Elliott and Cooper than the lack of brain trust we currently have in place.

Prescott is not the answer. He wilts when playing an elite defense and/or when Zeke is bottled up.
But again, I’m hoping the GM extends him after this season.

Jerry already said he wouldn't trade Prescott for 2 1sts (WHUT?!) and Stephen already said an extension is coming for Prescott and Cooper.

Will the cowboys ever be able to win a super bowl with JJ as gm? The Dolphins aren’t any better off with Tannenbaum as gm.

All we need is the elite defense to string together a couple good games to win the SB this year. The Giants did the same in 07 and 11.

They’ve put no contact red shirts on all the QBs now. I can only imagine Marino, Elway, Moon, and Montana if they played with these rules.

Lol, against bad teams, with very suspect defenses. Look at what happened when they played remotely good defenses.
Dallas wants to be elite, have to beat New Orleans. Then again in the playoffs, or Rams, or Chicago....assuming they even win the division.
