As for us winning out, one game at a time. We're hosting Houston and they're a damn good team. Dallas sweeping us this season effectively ended our hopes of winning the division. Apparently that's still mathematically possible, but it's a pipe dream IMHO.

You would need to win out and we would need to lose out.

Dalvin Cook is a beast, all he needed was to get healthy and get touches.

I'd say at this point Jason Garrett needs to win a divisional round play-off game to save his job, that 3-5 start really pissed Jerry off.

People seem to forget how good we looked last year before Carson went down. If he can get back to peak shape during this offseason, with the rest of the offense healthy (especially our run game), we'll be better than we were last night. No disrespect to Foles, who's obviously galvanized our squad when we're backed into a corner. But Wentz is our franchise guy.

According to Woody Paige John Elway and Mike Shanahan met last year to discuss Shanahan replacing Vance Joseph but Broncos CEO Joe Ellis told Elway that if he wanted to replace Joseph he'd have to do a full coaching search, not just give the job to Shanahan, and Elway decided to stick with Joseph. It seems unlikely Joseph returns next year so Shanahan could be a real possibility as his replacement.

The Rooney rule is a giant piece of doody and I can't believe everyone agreed to it. All it does is get minority candidates token interviews from teams that are already 100% locked into their guy. Watch Jason get fired and we have 2-3 "interviews" before we hire Lincoln Riley and his new staff.

So the 10-2 record they had(11-2 if you count the Rams game that Wentz had all wrapped up when he left) prior wasn’t playing better?
Also keep in mind to clinch home field throughout the playoffs last year they needed to beat a bad Oakland team...at home...on Christmas, which they sloppily did.
I like both QBs and I’m glad we have them. Not sure Foles will be in Philly after this season unless he gets a massive contract restructure. I believe he’s due in the $20mil range.

Oh they were, the players (Dak, Tank, Zeke) admitted they thought they were too hot to trot and felt the loss was necessary. I still think we're too flawed to win even 1 play-off game but won't completely rule it out. Definitely need to get rid of Scott Linehan though.

I’m not even sure if Lincoln wants to coach in NFL. College coaching is much better with more control and he’s at a top tier school.

Cowboys were always going to lose that game. They'd been playing elimination games so it's hard to keep that intensity going. Losing in the matter they did is good since it will get them refocused.
