Patriots masterfully took McVay out of the game as much as possible and made it a Goff game. All those defensive switches after Goff’s communication with the coaches got shut off.

Probably has to do more with the horrible officiating and league issues rather than the Pats dynasty.

The lowest ratings came from New Orleans. The Rams rank near the bottom of the league in fan support as evidence by the fact that it was basically a home game for New England. The Kaepernick nonsense. Too many people not having an attention span to watch a defensive battle tuning out. Pats being back is hardly the biggest factor in the dip. If anything the Pats fanbase helped it from being worse. A matchup like the Chargers and Rams would have been lucky to not have the worst ratings since SBX

Wasn't last night just classic NFC (Central) North football? It was a throwback game. The fact that it took place in a dome was hilarious

I enjoyed it. Pats defense was just unbelievable to watch. I still dont understand why the Pats went for it on 4th and 1 in the first half. Ballsy move. Id play it safe but i guess Bill obviously had faith in his defense

Ratings were up as a collective whole for the NFL this season. I really don’t think a small dip in Super Bowl ratings is a cause for much concern.

Also, his first year he had Jeff Fisher as a coach.. so it's safe to say his stats would be higher than the other 2 for most of those categories.
