True, I forget about the two losses pre-Bill and Brady era. Still, the point remains, I think a lot of fans, franchises, etc. would be pretty happy with 6 titles especially in the last 17 years, that's impressive, especially when taking into account some teams haven't ever been to the Super Bowl or close to one in eternities

And let’s face facts, New England is in a much better position to win another before Pittsburgh.
New England is the greatest dynasty in the history of the NFL, and might be the best dynasty in all of the major four US sports.

Just compare the Patriots stats before and after 2007 “spygate”. They are good, have been good for a long time, and will probably be good for as long as Belichek and Brady remain there.

The Chiefs-Patriots game was the most-watched conference championship since 2014 and the second most-watched AFC championship game in 42 years, so it's not Patriots fatigue, just that the Super Bowl was incredibly boring. I don't disagree that there's a good chance Bears-Packers ends up as the opening game but I don't think it will be because the Super Bowl ratings were down.

It is impressive, but what makes New England more impressive...IMO...is they’ve had this dynasty going for almost two decades. Just playing that long is a pretty notable feat, let alone for the same team, let alone at a Championship level.

As a Flyers fan I still shed a tear over the ‘87 Cup Finals. Hextall winning the Conn Smythe was a little bit of a consolation.
