According to ESPN though, Kubiak and Fangio had a lot of input on this decision so maybe this time it'll work out for the short term.

I'm okay with them trading a 4th rounder for a stopgap solution, starting QBs in the NFL can go for a lot more. Baltimore all in on Lamar Jackson.

He is a starting QB... doesn't mean he is a 'stopgap'.

Also a lot of money to tie up in to two QB's on the roster. Again, I am ultimately indifferent to what they do, not being a Broncos fan. It just seems like another derp move from Elway in regards to the QB position. They must think Flacco puts them in a better position to compete now but at the same time I am sure they are probably going to draft a QB either this year or next.

It can be argued he gives them a little better chance than Case, but clearly Vegas didn’t think so.

Read above Frances Sr., as I initially stated that Flacco could be the face that runs the place until I realized he's 34. I thought he was younger.

But, I still believe their SB chances improve if he's their starter.

Not sure the accuracy of it, but Rovell tweeted out this morning that he was told that Kaepernick wanted more than $20 million to play in the AAF.
