I think Bridgewater is betting on being the successor to Brees. He's got to know what will happen if he goes to Miami. He'll just be a stopgap.

Considering Tyreek Hill's past this could be a huge deal:

The Kansas City Chiefs have confirmed to The Star that they are aware of a law enforcement investigation involving wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Star has obtained a police report from the Overland Park Police Department about a battery incident that lists a juvenile as the victim. Hill’s fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is listed under “others involved.”

There goes that "new highest paid WR" contract. Serves him right (if the allegations are true).

I think Mahomes is good enough to make it work regardless of who's at WR/RB, but losing Hunt and Hill is obviously gonna hurt to some extent. Gonna be a critical year for him, especially if the Chargers maintain and the Raiders improve (not sure what to think of Denver).
