And I'm not defending Garrett's actions in the least. As I said in my earlier post, I agreed that it was 'cowardly and bush-league', but Rudolph trying to act like he didn't instigate things was ridiculous, too.

I'm not saying Rudolph was a perfect angel in this situation (he'll probably get some kind of punishment too), but nothing he did in that video justified getting hit in the head with a helmet. That's just an idiot doing stupid shit and now that idiot will be sitting on the bench the rest of the season.

Garrett's suspension shouldn't spill into next season. If he shows contrition in his meeting with the league office, that should be enough to cap it at the six remaining regular season games. (Ironically, the Browns looked like they could start to make a playoff run, but Garrett's absence might be the end of that.)

Mason Rudolph only the victim because he got his ass beat. If this was in the street Myles Garrett would be in the right for self defense.

First time I saw a QB actually try to fight someone like that. Guess that's why they don't do it.
