Now Lamar is the true Baby Goat! It’s his world as we all just live in it.
Dude is just inventing new ways to impress.

I'll admit it. I thought he'd be an NFL bust. All the signs were there. His game in college regressed somewhat after his first year starting, and he was a very average passer with accuracy problems. I also figured his running game wouldn't translate to the NFL.

So far he has improved significantly across the board. His accuracy is greatly improved and his running game has translated to the NFL. Of course he will need to increasingly rely more on passing. Taking consistent hits like a RB results in a shortened career.

If he can punk the Niners this week he probably deserves to be MVP. That would mean he clobbered the top 2 defenses in the league.

Lamar is really good, but I am holding back on long-term success. We have been down this road before, especially with the backup, RGIII. I hope that he can continue all the things he is doing and play to his style without eventually transitioning to more of a typical QB.

As a Niner fan I am nervous on this one. Hope the D can pressure him all game. On the offensive side Jimmy needs to be mistake free for them to have success.

I'm with you. Unless he suffers injury or the team has some kind of epic collapse I am thinking he wins league MVP though. Yes Wilson is having a great year too but the media likes the shiny new toy right now, which I get because he is exciting and fun to watch, whereas Russ is just taking care of business as usual up in SEA.

If Tom Brady's successor sucks the Pats are always going to be reminded of the fact that they had the 31st pick and passed on Jackson, who went 32nd. Not that every other team also passed on him in the 1st round.

Yeah, he's way more promising that Vick at this stage of his career. Vick was barely completing 50% of his passes during his first NFL stint. Even rushing I think Lamar is a little better. Lamar is in the top 10 in the NFL in rushing, only a couple hundred yards behind McCaffrey.

Lamar wasn't good passing last year. People wonder how good Vick could be if he spent time learning the game instead of dogfighting. This might be it.

A lot of people tuned to see America’s team take on Dallas.
Also a lot of hate watching going on too.

All of that and they will most likely be 6-6. Jerry about to field a lot of questions about why Jason Garrett still has a job after they drop to 0-5 against winning teams with a chance to finish 7-9 or 8-8 after starting 3-0.

I know we're all sick of him but we'll probably never hear about him again within the scope of hoping to land an NFL job but this is a good read on how the whole workout plan came together and fell apart for Kaepenick. I know each side will point the finger at the other but reading this and even if the league was acting in bad faith, Kaep and his team made some pretty stupid decisions in the end. At this point he should be lucky if the XFL offered him a job at least there he could be big fish, small pond and probably the star/face of the league but of course he will continue to get bad advice, make poor decisions and want to be a martyr.

Cute joke, but as far I'm concerned, the only "America's Team"s are the US Olympians, or Team USA in competitions like World Cup Soccer, World Baseball Classic, and others that feature national teams.

And you make a good point: Hate-ratings (Hatings?) are still Ratings. It's kind of like what happens at shows where you vote by making noise: Boos are just cheers from ghosts.
