Majority if not all of the teams I've named will be in the playoffs, so the "it's just the Jets" statement is irrelevant.

Lamar Jackson is sitting at #5 in the NFL in rushing, less than 200 yards behind Chubb. He's tied for 9th in rushing TD's. Granted, he's played an extra game. That's still insane.

I'm with you. He is a phenomenal player and absolutely deserving of MVP this season however I think you are right, defenses will find a way to contain him if he tries to continue to run as much as he is or all of that running is going to eventually lead to injury.

Giants have cut CB Janoris Jenkins for calling a fan a "retard" on Twitter. He apologized however it was pretty half hearted as he said it was slang and part of his culture. He eventually was let go because he refused to admit to Shurmur that what he did was wrong. This morning on Twitter he alluded to relief at being waived, which on one hand the Giants are a bad team but on the other he's leaving behind one year and $11m on the table.

I read a while back that Ravens built the team around Lamar. So Ravens knew they wanted to draft him and instead of shoehorning him into their current system and personnel, they overhauled everything to fit around him.

Sometimes you need to have the right system for the QB to flourish. He looks amazing out there but if you stick him on a different team without the same personnel, I wonder if he could have posted the same numbers.

About facing the Jets. Ravens are for real. Doesn't matter who they beat. They have demolished teams this season. I am imagining a Ravens/SF Superbowl. That would be finally a good one.

I read about Jenkins comment last night. Just another example of someone who doesn’t get that they don’t get it.
As desperate as Philly is for any DB help, I hope they don’t sign this jerk. He has a history of saying the wrong thing.

Ravens look unstoppable. This is a team with ZERO weaknesses. One of the most complete teams we've seen in years.

I tell you I don't see how any team is going to stop that 3 te set, all teams in this league just do not have the personnel to counter it right now. This is not just about Lamar, their o-line and blocking schemes are just above every other team right now imo.

Marcus Peters trade really helped their defense too. Allows them to be super aggressive with their blitz’s.
