I said it was ONE of the reasons why he got fired. Why can't you comprehend this. It's the second time you've misinterpreted what I originally said. In simple terms..Tebow wasn't good enough for the first round, Josh McDaniels thought he was and wasted 3 other picks to get him. Doesn't matter if he played for him or not. Bad move either way.

His subsequent failure to latch on with another team is neither proof that he was or wasn't a good pick.

No it was proof that he wasn't a good QB (for the NFL). His mechanics were awful, this was known before the Draft. He had a chance to continue playing professional football at another position, but was dead set on being a QB and this is what ultimately put him out of the league.

Drafting Tebow is the only stain you listed on McDaniels resume so excuse me for not seeing past your hatred of McDaniels and/or Tebow.

Nobody gets fired for drafting a player. They get fired when that player fails to develop into someone capable of helping the team.

It was actually a great pick for the Broncos because he helped them win enough games to lure Peyton in the off-season. You can use hindsight to push any narrative.

No team wanted the media circus that came with. Tebow had a lot of haters rooting for him to fail. The deck was stacked against him his whole career.

I didn't even know who Tebow was until he started playing for the Broncos. He made mistakes in going to the Jets and Patriots. Not gonna start over Brady and the Jets can't develop a QB period. Don't agree with his stance on college athletes getting paid either.

Lamar Jackson year 1 was actually very similar to Tebow, but one got to continue on and the other didn't.

It's done because your take of a late first round pick made a decade ago being a cardinal sin is idiotic. If anything this Patriots super bowl defense being wasted by an underwhelming offense is more troubling.
