Jimmy Johnson drafted very well. Bill Parcells got the most out of who he had.

Picking the best Dolphins coach is like picking the best death penalty. You’re still dead.

So many Dolphins players succeed when they leave the team. Not many Dolphins coaches do.

I still can't believe they pulled it off. They punched the #1 seed in the mouth. Unreal. I'm not surprised they beat the Pats, but this I AM surprised by.

Loved seeing the Niners win but seeing the Raven lose was just the icing on the cake today. So many people pretty much declared them champs months ago and the playoffs were just a formality, lol.

His role is basically Trent Dilfer 2000. Throw the ball maybe a dozen times a game, hand it off 30+ times, don't turn the ball over. So far he's done that very well. In hindsight, we really lucked out with Pittsburgh and Oakland losing out that playoff spot to Tennessee.

On paper you'd think KC has the best shot at a Super Bowl at this point. They're knocking out one powerhouse after another, similar to the Giants in 2007.

And yeah, Derrick Henry picked the best time ever to go legend in the postseason. He's going to get paid... big.

Good comparison to Dilfer. Also the Tennessee defense played lights out today, especially against the Ravens.

I remember watching this video about a year ago. Outstanding analysis about Henry's rise (college), and fall (early NFL years), and meteoric rise again in 2018. It has certainly aged incredibly well with what he's done in 2019-20.

Bro as Steelers fan I was hoping we didn't sneak in lol. Titans were the better team and they are proving it now.

You are right about KC, now are never for Andy Reid.

All I need is a Packers loss and I'll be ok with any outcome the rest of the way.

Open question. If you could have any starting QB for the remainder of their career who would it be? I'd rank my choices like this.

1. Patrick Mahomes - No disrespect to the rest, but it's not all that close for me. Mahomes has multiple top-tier seasons under his belt, and he's still only 24. Frankly I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a career that is at worst on par with someone like Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson, with the potential to be even better.

2. Lamar Jackson - Only one great season as a starter so far, though it was an MVP season. I get that it ended in a disappointing fashion, but what QB's first full season starting does end well, aside from Brady? Even in his loss today he wasn't terrible, with >500 yards, but costly turnovers. Question marks are durability with his style of play and whether defensives will figure him out. I still he's much more than a one year wonder, like Cam Newton.

3. Russell Wilson - Yeah, older than those above him on the list. Still, he's only 31 and had perhaps the best regular season of his career this season. He is incredibly durable, never missing a single game in his career, and could easily play another solid 7-8 (or more) high quality seasons given how long QB's tend to last nowadays.

4. Deshaun Watson - Still not sure if he makes the leap from high 2nd tier to top-tier QB, but I'd say there's a very good chance of it.

Next Tier - in no particular order:

Carson Wentz - The talent is certainly there, he just needs to stay healthy and the Eagles need to give him someone to throw to.

Dak Prescott - Still think he could potentially become an elite QB. I feel like he has plenty of talent, but has not been used right by Garrett. We'll see what the new regime does with him.

Jimmy Garoppolo - Showing a lot of improvement, but still has a long way to go.

As I said, this is who I'd most like for the remainder of their careers. I'm leaving off guys like Daniel Jones and Kyler Murray who have potential, but it's too early to tell how good they'll be. I am also leaving off guys like Brady, Rodgers, and Brees, who are nearing retirement.

I'm discounting Wilson as he has won a SB. We're talking potential here, not proven ability. Wilson is a 8+ WAR QB this year, easily.

So, of the younger unproven crowd:

If you need a QB to carry the team around him, probably Watson. Has done the most with lesser coaching.

If you want a QB that has done the most with a great coach, Mahomes. Has the raw talent like Watson, but has had far better coaching, which means he can probably use that as an advantage once Reid retires.

If you want the best young QB + young coach combo, Garoppolo. Is 21-5 as a combo with Shanahan, and both have room to get even better for a possible 10+ year stretch. Not the flashiest, but the best pairing of potential.
