He's a "name" so he probably gets some leeway. At least more than a no-name Browns kicker who gets cut early into his second season only to become a stud for the Cardinals.

Anyone notice that Rams coach Sean McVay was a dirty chin-masker for nearly the entire Sunday night game? I didn't think anything of it at the time.

A lot of coaches were. Even Ron Rivera, who I'd imagine would be the most at-risk coach in the league currently.

Question. If all these players and coaches have tested negative are the masks really necessary? Since they're all covid free? Im honestly just curious, not trying to be one of those people who rant about covid is fake or what not.

Every person they interact with outside of Sunday is a potential virus vector. They'd have to test them every day and lock out even family members to be sure. Plus there's lag time between the test results and Sunday game time.

Niners place CB Richard Sherman on IR, he's out at least 3 weeks with a strained calf. His back up Akhelo Witherspoon is now in concussion protocol. Not a promising start to the season so far, ugh.
