My NYJ need to get their shit together on defense over the offseason cuz these young AFC QBs are already a force to be reckoned with. We already have our hands full with Bellicheat/Mac Jones and Josh Allen in our own division, let alone Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert...WOOF Just hoping Zach can join that growing list of good young QBs.

24 pts in 1 minute and 54 seconds.

Not sure we’ll see that again in a Playoff game

by no means a Jimmy apologist (I knew that INT was coming on that drive) but there were three dropped passes in the first half, one to Kittle that likely would've been a TD, that weren't on Jimmy. Beyond that, the conditions in Lambeau on Saturday also had a hand in the offensive output for both teams. Its just part of the game.
I don't foresee a similar stat line for the offense in the comfort of Levi South this Sunday.

I guess I am in the minority in thinking the OT rules don't need to be changed. Sure everyone loves a high octane, quick scoring, flashy offense but umm defense is cool too guys

Yeah, like being given a short field twice and getting bailed out with a fumble at the 1 and a missed FG that was short from 47, in non-inclement weather no less, that literally never happens. Hell, I can't even remember the last time I've seen it happen in shitty conditions.

But as much as I wanted the Bills to win last night, I can't deny that was a GREAT game with a helluva finish. Mahomes/Allen be like:

Easily the next great young QB matchup in the NFL.

OT rules should be a shootout. Each team starts in redzone. First team to not score a TD with their possession looses.

I know we are all over the map, geographically, and we have our teams (some of those are questionable, including mine) but overall I just want to state that I love how we all come here and chat about our teams, players, and the games itself. We’re a true community and I love coming here and being a part of it.

Kind of messes with overall stats tho right?
Will be hard to compare performances/seasons historically if Josh Allen has 9 TD passes last night.

I like how they are right now. The original win with a FG rule was dumb. This is better. I’d be okay with giving the other team a chance to answer a TD but only with a proper kickoff.

Yea id be ok with keeping it this way for reg season but playoffs each team gauranteed a possession.
Would also add to strategy.
Maybe a team kicks 1st so they know what the other team did & what they have to at least match.
If the 1st teams scores a TD then the other scores a TD do they then go for 2 & the win ?

Under the current rule, winner of coin toss wins the game 52.8% of the time in the regular season and 90.9% in the playoffs. Sample size much lower for the playoff games.

Teams starting in the end zone in the playoffs just doesn't seem like football to me; it would be the equivalent of recovering an onside kick and running 30 yards with the ball. If you can't stop the other team from marching into the goal line, I don't think you should win.

That said, Josh Allen will probably never call tails again.

Dak getting paid like he's Mahomes or Josh Allen even though he can't carry the team to a win. Only thing Cowboys have going for them is they're in the NFC East.

Really don't get the spreads being that tight for the Chiefs. I realize they'd be playing a California team in California, but the spreads feel like they should be more like KC (-3.5) vs. the Rams, (-4.5 to 5.5) vs. San Francisco.

Liar, liar pants on fire. 99% of the time you hear any athlete or politician claim their family will factor heavily into their potential retirement, they are lying. It's well known Brady's wife has wanted him to retire for many years. If her input mattered even slightly, he'd have retired years ago.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady says he plans to spend a lot of time with family to figure out his future

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady indicated Monday that family will play a substantial role in determining whether he will return to play next season. He also said that if this is it, he could walk away "proud and satisfied," even though the Bucs lost 30-27 when they were eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs Sunday by the Los Angeles Rams.

I have a feeling this isn't going to work:

CBS 2 - Rams Limit Ticket Sales For NFC Title Game To SoCal Residents Only

There are a lot of 49'ers fans in the area.

Probably just a power struggle between him and the Bucs.

Why would you consider something so personal to stay etched in stone? People change and evolve in their priorities and attitudes.
