Lots of other reports saying that Fangio to MIA isn't finalized until he actually signs because of lots of moving pieces. Demeco taking the HC spot in HOU means the Niners have an opening and its now speculated that there is mutual interest for both Fangio and SF. Would be a nice reunion, he did great in his first stint in SF under Harbaugh.

Initial reports say Purdy did tear his UCL, meaning surgery and a six month recovery. He will get a second opinion but this is just a cherry on the sh-t sundae.

Also league is saying next seasons cap will be just under $225m

Healthy & tua in the same sentence is like hot & siberia in the same sentence.

On the brady thing like i mentioned last mnth SF makes way more sense than LV.
No mahomes & herbs in division + no allen or burrow in conference either.
SF way easier division + conference.
SF is also the betting fav +150 with LV now up to +175.

Currently they have close to 14 million in cap space next season after the cap adjustment. They will have to get creative and push money around to make that happen and will leave them with literally nothing left in space to get a 46 year old qb.

And Tua needs to seriously contemplate retirement imo after this year, the guy has a brittle head, sucks for him but that's not something that will ever get any better.

Agreed, this wasn't the best news as a NYJ fan. The Tua part I'm not remotely worried about.

Whatever the case, I don't think this is actually gonna happen.
Brock is going to have an MRI today, hopefully its not a tear requiring Tommy John surgery.
The expectation is for Brock and Trey to compete in camp and keep them both on the roster as the team knows all too well the importance of keeping solid backups.

You’re right about the short passes. But their offense with Purdy also had a lot of play action, quick roll outs and misdirection that aren’t exactly strengths of Brady here in 2023. But I would trust their HC to make it work whatever they do
