I think league wide, running backs need to get on the same page and make a statement. Wait till the last day of camp and then walk off the field or something, let the NFL see what the sport is like with no running backs in it. It is going to take a GFY measure like this imo to get anything done.

The league and owners seem very content with using them up on rookie contracts and then putting them in franchise 1 year limbo.

Pretty sure the Giants and Raiders plan on doing it a second time too.

something needs to be done about that

It does but like i said it won't change until something drastic is done. Telling all 32 teams that all their starting, backup and practice field running backs are walking off their field 3 days before the season starts would be the best way to do it imo. But that will take hundreds of players unifying.

This is just another reason why i think Goodell is as worthless as tits on a bull! An owner shill through and through who remains sitting on his hands hoping this just goes away! There has to be some easier options they can do with cap adjusting or rookie deals to try and remedy the situation but clearly the play by the league here is to try ignore the issue imo.

This is where Rookie contracts need to change. Take some of that QB money and give it to Rookie RB. RB should get 5-6 years on Rookie deals because they inherently break down from all the wear and tear. Look how fast guys like LeVeon Bell, Peyton Hillis, Bo Jackson, Priest Holmes etc. all lost it. Very few maintained the longevity of Emmit, Barry, Jim Brown, OJ, AP, Dickerson, and Walter Peyton.

Once the Rookie Payscale is adjusted things may actually change. But I doubt that will happen. people seem to be content with the 100 million dollar QB, and the 5 million dollar RB.

PREACH!!! During his shitty tenure, there's been FAR more harm than good applied to the game we've all grown to know and love.

The TEN "Oilers" throwback uniforms are incoming (this weekend) as well and it appears as though the NYJ 80s throwbacks are also on their way.

Am i the only one here who wishes the throwbacks would become the norm again? The colors, design simplicity and logos all better imo vs. current day uni's.

Agreed, probably due to the type of helmet used. There's SO many models available now.

I'm already liking the new owner as i heard he is looking to get rid of the cookie cutter Commanders name. I kind of liked the no brand WFT concept, certainly far better then the tecmo bowl Commanders crap!
