This is nothing new, most long time franchise coaches like this never end well, most time practically having to be carried out the door at the end. The game looks like it has passed Bill by and it's time to move on imo.

Time to either let him retire or fire him and replace him with Mayo as interim head coach for the rest of the season, bring up Malik Cunningham and see if his legs can piece together the rest of the season and see what you have with him. His 1/4 and a half of preseason play has been about the only bright spot for this team this season so far. Mac Jones is just not the answer here, he needs a solid offensive line and we don't have that here, nor will we for a couple seasons.

Yeah, I think the game just passed him by/he lost a step or two. Need I remind you he went 11-5 with Matt Cassell.

As for Dak, they at least have somebody they can potentially groom behind him already on the roster without having to use a high draft pick who could be something, so there's that, I guess. He's not just gonna come in and put up Dak or better numbers, though, especially with all those valuable years missed due to injuries. He essentially redshirted his first 2 years in the league with an ACL tear. Add having to learn a whole new system to that and there's gonna be growing pains for sure.

But they know what they have with Dak and what he brings isn't good enough when it counts (just like Romo), Madden stats be damned (he's a beast in Madden sim, top 3 QB in yards, TDs and MVP voting every single year).

That 70 pt game against the Broncos (and 700+ yds of offense) is an outlier so far that inflates their average. Most likely won’t happen again. And Miami’s only loss to date was against a good defense, something that could be a problem for them going forward.

there isn't enough data on Trey to feel high or low on him. he lost his starting job due to circumstance. No one expected Brock to emerge the way he has.
I am thinking as long as the Cowboys are within striking distance of a wild card spot, they ride with Dak. A better measure for Dallas will be to see how they team performs against the Eagles, who look pretty mortal despite their record.
I am not excusing Dak's performance, at all but the Cowboys never established any kind of run game at all, the Niners played the pass throughout and the Cowboys paid for it.

KC says TE Travis Kelce (ankle) is questionable for tomorrow nights matchup vs. DEN. The way the Broncos are performing, KC would be wise just to let Kelce sit

I hope Kelce does sit tonight. Not to overlook Denver, but it's game that we shouldn't need him. Plus, I would like to see the WR group step up and carry a game (vs TE/Kelce).

Next week is Charger Week....we will need Kelce (more) for that Division game.

I say all that and Kelce being Kelce he WANTS to be on the field. And, (apologies) Taylor is suppose to be at the game tonight....at least that's what is being reported in the KC market this morning. It's a Prime Time Home game and her concert film is released tonight...so yea it makes sense that she's here (but only if Kelce is playing).
