I held in my bladder for like the last 40 mins.

Wasn't all sunshine and roses for Mahomes, but this is what separates legends from pretenders. It was a tough slog all game for KC, but they still found a way to pull it out. Mahomes is 28, with 3 rings.

This was why I never understood the bookmakers putting the line in the Niners favor. I have as much faith in Mahomes being bested in a big game as I did Tom Brady's teams. All things being equal, the team with the all-time great QB is almost always going to come out on top.

And yeah, coaches matter too. Why would anyone trust Kyle Shanahan in a big game?

That and the opening drive where the Niners were rolling on offenese until McCaffery fumbled the ball. That may have ended in maybe 3-7 points for SF.

What about when Pacheco coughed it up after the long pass from Mahomes?

Of course, as wild as it is Mahomes has 3 rings in his 20's, it's even crazier he's not even past the halfway mark to Brady's 7.

Still, worst case for Mahomes at this point is probably a career where he wins 4-5 Super Bowls and ends up widely regarded as the 2nd best players in NFL history. Barring serious injury, he has at minimum, another decade plus left as a top-tier QB.

I wouldn't, he's the most overrated HC in the NFL right now.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw that. Very nearly happened. No wonder Mahomes wasn't trusting his teammates and running the damn thing himself on many key plays late.
