That would be my guess as well. I don't think highly of the Bears at all. Their offensive line is still a mess. Lance Briggs is doing his best to tear apart the locker room by complaining not only about his own contract but other players that he thinks deserves extensions. They don't seem to have any leaders. I think they'll start 0-3 with their schedule of Atlanta, at New Orleans, and Green Bay and I don't think they'll be able to recover. I see the Bears as a 7-win team.

I see the Vikings with around 7 wins as well. Peterson should be great as always but they don't have any receivers and I'm not sold on McNabb.

Wow... 27.5 million viewers for the game and 18 million for the pre-game show. The market share for the cities of Milwaukee and New Orleans were both around 75%.

TV ratings: NFL scores a huge opening on NBC Thursday

The NFL's slogan for the start of this season has been "back to football," and TV viewers got back to it in a very big way Thursday.

Metered-market ratings for the season-opening game between the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are down slightly from last year's kickoff, but the fast nationals are up. However you slice it, though, it's a great big audience.

They don't have any receivers? Do you forget Percy Harvin? He is the only good receiver on the Vikings right now so the Vikings have 1 receiver, haha

Percy hasn't come close to living up to the hype. Last year he was 27th in the league in yardage and tied for 42nd in receiving touchdowns. He's not a bad receiver and is a good returner but he is not a #1 receiver and the rest of their receiving corp is just pathetic.

ESPN's John Clayton reports that Arian Foster (hamstring) is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Colts.
We'd be a bit cautious with this news because Clayton's injury updates are often not the most reliable. "It's still looking like he's not going to be able to go," Clayton said on SportsCenter Friday. "... Still looking like a 3-4 week injury." We'll know for sure on Sunday morning, but for now Foster owners shouldn't have him in their starting lineups. Expect a carry split between Derrick Ward and Ben Tate if Foster is inactive.

The question marks around Foster are why I took Johnson at #3, surprised he fell to 8th though, still expecting him to have a nice season. Johnson has been consistent over a longer period of time, which is why I was happy to get him #3 overall, would've been willing to take him #1.

But seriously, play some freaking defense. They don't have to play great defense, but they don't even play competent defense. 84 points in the last two games going back to the Wildcard game? Who else but the Saints score 70 points over the last two games, have 800+ passing yards by Brees but go 0-2?

The Jaguars game has not sold out but the game will not be blacked out. The Jaguars have apparently agreed to buy the remaining tickets that are unsold but will continue selling tickets up until the game.

According to Philly Sports Daily, Jackson is seeking a deal "in line with the recently-adjusted market for star receivers."
Larry Fitzgerald landed an eight-year, $128.5 million deal after Santonio Holmes signed a five-year, $45.5 million contract. Agent Drew Rosenhaus wants a five-year deal "that fits somewhere between the two, though much closer to Holmes' money." The Eagles aren't believed to even be "in the same ballpark," and have yet to make an official offer. Talks have broken off on the doorstep of the 2011 season.
