We'll learn a lot about both teams tonight. Are the Lions for real? And how good are the Bears this season?

If the Lions beat the Bears, they are still not for real because the Bears are average

As a Vikings fan.... I'm guessing you think the entire remainder of the Lion's schedule is "Average or below" right?

No but the Lions have not beaten good teams yet so that is why the Lions are not for real until they defeat a good team like the Patriots

when the season started we would have all been shocked and said "the Lions had a good season" if they went 8-8 or maybe, MAYBE even 10-6. so starting 4-0 and having big come from behind wins is very impressive and shows substantial growth.

so yes, the Lions are for real.

but they gotta keep it up.

sure, they could go 4-12 and we'd all forget how great the 4-0 start was (a lot of teams start hot and fall off the map) but if the Lions still finish 8-8 it will be a good season, but because of the 4-0 start, it will be major disappointment to a lot of people.

i expected (maybe still do expect) a 8-8 year or maybe 9-7. which shows the Lions are "for real" and hopefully on the up and up.

i just hope that if this year they go 10-6 or something they don't crumble the next year. bugs the hell out of me when a team does really good (especially out of nowhere - a la Miami Dolphins after 1-15 season) and then just becomes absolute $h*t again.

I see where you're going with this, but I'll just say this:

"Beating the teams you 'should' beat, assuming it's not some last second miracle etc... makes you a legitimate team"

If they control the pace of the game and win by two scores, it's about the same as them blowing them out 40-0

Um we did beat the Patroits first team offense in pre season... Lions have won like 12 games straight in a streak that does include the Packers who won the SB last year, Patroits in pre Season, Packers with our 3rd String QB, TB 2x Last year and this year, Dallas & KC who was 10-6 last year, all respected teams. Like seriously just shut up with your the suck unless they do this mentality, this is why everyone on these forums and in this thread cannot stand you. You would have thought you would have learned something after your last 2 suspensions, please stop cluttering the thread with this crap.

lol it was like a 50 yard touchdown to he broke coverage off the line then had a saftey on him down the field was a true wtf moment...btw if you want to watch via stream check your PM i sent you a forum link to a site where you can watch the game

Every year it's the same story for the Bears - no O-line. I've never liked Cutler, but the Bears troubles are more about the O-Line than the QB. They give him no time to throw.
