It would be smart to sit Janikoski this week. The week after is a bye. And after that it's Denver. Two or three weeks might be all he needs to heal up before a tougher stretch of games.

According to ESPN Carson Palmer is unlikely to play Sunday against the Chiefs, with a source saying it's 95% certain he's not going to play. Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said he won't decide on a quarterback until game-time.

Raiders coach Hue Jackson hinted on his radio show Friday that he may use more than one quarterback in Week 7 against the Chiefs.
The Raiders could start Kyle Boller, but give Carson Palmer snaps as a means of "easing in" their new franchise quarterback. It's interesting to note that Jackson also gave Terrelle Pryor first-team practice reps throughout the week, perhaps an indication that the rookie could be mixed in as a package player. Clearly, it's a situation to stay away from in all fantasy leagues.

I have no idea, not seeing anything about it on the major NFL news sites.
Quote:
IRVING, Texas – Patriots coach Bill Belichick paid what he considered the ultimate compliment to DeMarcus Ware last week.

He compared Ware to Hall of Fame outside linebacker Lawrence Taylor, a legend Belichick coached as the Giants’ defensive coordinator.

Not even that was high enough praise, in the opinion of Rob Ryan. The Cowboys’ defensive coordinator couldn’t think of anyone worthy of being compared to Ware.

“I mean, I saw Superman I and II but never saw the third one,” Ryan said. “I know Lawrence Taylor is obviously a fantastic player, but the best player I’ve ever seen on defense is DeMarcus Ware without a doubt.”

Ware has led the NFL in sacks in two of the last three years and ranks near the top with seven sacks so far this season. He’s just about as dominant against the run, a combination that leaves the loquacious Ryan struggling to find words to adequately describe the man.

“I mean, you can’t describe him,” Ryan said. “I don’t know how to describe him. In my limited vocabulary, I can’t describe him, so maybe one of you guys can. But he’s outstanding. I mean, it’s ridiculous how good he is.”

I'll bet the Broncos could get blown out by a terrible Miami team with Tebow throwing 0 TD's, 3 picks and fumbling the ball away 2-3 times and the Broncos fans would still be all googly-eyed over Tebow. I've never seen a player with such an irrational fan base as Tebow has.

CBSSports.com is listing him that way in my league...... (not on my team, or my opponents, but it's worth noting )

Assuming they let him throw the ball 3 times.... I agree with you!

Even with the most recent success, Raiders are still having a tough time sell tickets, for divisonal home games there offering 2 for 1 tickets... which really helped the game sell out... Times are still tough in the Bay Area...

It helps that the Florida teams bought up the unsold tickets because neither the Jaguars or Bucs (in London) were true sellouts and the Dolphins game wouldn't have sold out if King Tebow wasn't starting.
