The Haynesworth situation really makes me worry about giving out big contracts. I remember getting a Sports Illustrated a few years ago and seeing them make a case for Haynesworth as MVP. He was a monster. Now, fast forward to today where he caused a bunch of problems in Washington after getting that big money and gets waived by a Patriots team that has struggled with getting a pass rush. I'm surprised the Bucs put in a claim, even if they did lose McCoy to IR for the second straight season. Might as well try to get Randy Moss while they're at it.

Felix Jones (ankle) will not practice on Wednesday.
Jones will spend his day rehabbing while the Cowboys practice. For now, it looks like he'll miss his fourth straight game since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 6. Dallas has no reason to rush him back with DeMarco Murray performing at an extremely high level as the feature back.

I had a thought about my team the Colts (and I know I may get a lot of why him) opinions, but when the Colts fire Jim Caldwell, how about them look into the possiblity of getting Charle Strong?

He seems to be a good college coach, but he doesn't have enough head coaching experience. I think in the end, he'll win a lot of games for Louisville but there's a huge difference between NCAA football and NFL football.

I may not know all of his staff names @ Louisville, but the last 3 weeks or so, his D has really been improved, and that Tampa 2 D the Colts use is FAILING now.

It was just a thought I had.

There's no guarantee Caldwell will be fired. Everyone is saying "but if Peyton was healthy..."

There's no doubt Caldwell is an awful coach.

They should put an asterik to his NFL coaching records and add "coached a Peyton Manning led team" as a footnote.

Oh, I totally agree with you. He's a terrible coach, but it wouldn't surprise me if he survived after an atrocious season. And knowing his luck, he fell upon Andrew Luck. (No pun intended)

85 is not a good number for the Patriots.

David Tyree wore 85 in XLII.
Jake Ballard wears 85 and made that huge catch in at midfield (Tyree anyone?) and then the touchdown in last weeks upset.
Ochocinco wears 85.

If he did it would surely be the first time in NFL history that a franchise had 3 straight black coaches. For a long time I've believed the reason Strong didn't land a bigger job than Louisville was partly due to race. NCAA football doesn't have a very good record on black coaches like the NFL does.

If hes the best coach for the job go for it Race shouldn't matter White Black Purple or Green it does not matter. If hes the best guy for the job give it to him.

No run DMC REALLY hurts, Bush is good but lacks the burst and great speed to get to the second level consistently. I think San Diego is going to rout you, actually picked them up this week as my fantasy defense since Buffalo(dropped) is going up against the Cowboys and the Bears face the Lions.

No Run DMC is insane and at least they have a good backup in Bush, problem is the secondary of the Raiders is torn up I can see Vincent Jackson and Gates going insane tonight.

Ya hes injury has really hurt us, more than you can know... But were still scoring points without him, its our defense that's losing games for us

We're without one of our top 2 runningbacks and our top receiver, I still think we should beat Buffalo. We're tough at home, they're missing 3 of their best players and we're overdue a win against a play-off caliber team.
