I'm sure someone would be up for it!
What is your team again? I would hope my Brownies would take a stab at him (he'd fit in with our attempt at what is supposed to be a West-Coast Offense) I'm gonna have to look at some early draft ratings and see what's up.... |

A lot of the draft projections I'm seeing have Cleveland taking Griffin. The Browns are the highest pick team in real need of a starting QB, so it makes sense they'd take Griffin.

And if the Browns get RG3 and a speed receiver (assuming they keep Hillis or replace him) I think it's safe to say the AFC North is the toughest division in football. The defense is already pretty darn good and with RG3 and some kind of offensive weapon they should be able to put up points too. (This is all assuming RG3 is better in the NFL than Cam Newton, which I totally believe he can be) |

Guess I was a little off on the draft order. Here's the actual order. The 11th/12th picks will be determined by a coin flip.
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2012/1/1...anapolis-colts 1. Indianapolis Colts, 2-14 2. St. Louis Rams, 2-14 3. Minnesota Vikings, 3-13 4. Cleveland Browns, 4-12 5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 4-12 6. Washington Redskins, 5-11 7. Jacksonville Jaguars, 5-11 8. Carolina Panthers, 6-10 9. Miami Dolphins, 6-10 10. Buffalo Bills, 6-10 11. Seattle Seahawks, 7-9* 12. Kansas City Chiefs, 7-9* 13. Philadelphia Eagles, 8-8 14. New York Jets, 8-8 15. Arizona Cardinals, 8-8 16. San Diego Chargers, 8-8 17. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland Raiders, 8-8) 18. Chicago Bears, 8-8 19. Dallas Cowboys, 8-8 (unless Cowboys pull off a miracle comeback) 20. Tennessee Titans, 9-7 |

Don't forget that nice trade you guys pulled off in 2011, getting an amazing deal from Atlanta for the Julio Jones pick. You have Atlanta's 1st rounder in 2012 in addition to the #4 overall. You also have an extra 4th round pick from Atlanta in 2012.

My fear is drafting RGIII, and having him basically refuse to play for us! Last edited by Beta Man; 01-02-2012 at 02:23 AM. |

After the rejuvenation of the Panthers by Cam Newton I think you'll see a lot more players enjoy going to losing teams. Plus with the amount of picks in the first 4 round your Browns and the Bengals have this year their talent level should skyrocket. And AFC North is definitely one of the toughest divisions. It seems like every year we send at least 2 teams to the playoffs. |

Going from 1-15 to 6-10 is a good move forward. Alongside the fact that they were within 7 points in 5 of their losses. Once they get a few more play makers they will be a contender in the NFC South. If they were an AFC West team they would have probably made the playoffs, lol.

From what I'm reading, The Rams and Vikings will probably look to trade down.
Browns have a lot of ammo to move up. Only other question, is whether the Browns take a shot at the #1 pick to get Luck, or just move up to get RGIII Personally, I would like to see us get RGIII, and obviously fix the right side of the O-line, and get an impact WR, and also a decent Linebacker. I'm pretty worried actually, because Luck and RGIII are both "attainable" to us now, and I'm worried we won't make the moves necessary, and someone will trade up with St. Louis or Minnesota, and we'll stand-still, and find ourselves picking #4 with both Luck and RGIII off the board. I wouldn't mind getting Kallil, but let's be honest here..... the Browns need a QB and there is a severe drop-off in talent from Luck and RGIII, to the rest of the incoming class. |

Has Indy even made it clear they are 100% keeping that top pick? I just cannot see that working unless they actually do release Manning. |

Reggie Wayne and Robert Mathis are both going to be free agents and the Colts still don't really have a run game. They are going into rebuilding mode. The Jags/Titans/Texans all need to strike while they can. |

I wholeheartedly agree, they may not get much, but every little bit helps when rebuilding. and some team like the Jets or Dolphins might want him for the 2-3 seasons he may have left.
