How am I being an "A-hole" .. Your the one that said there were no stars in this years Pro-Bowl ... number of alternates mean nothing... Bottom line is there will be pleanty of stars this year, and my list proves that

Didn't was they weren't watching. The NFL could televise random player drug testing on TV and millions would watch it. I'm just saying it sucks, which most who watch the game would even admit. It's hard to care about a game that even the players playing in the game don't care about. Same deal goes for NBA All-Star games and to a lesser extent MLB All-Star games.

I was offered first chance to buy tickets to this seasons NBA All-Star game in Orlando and laughed at the offer. Tickets cost roughly what I'd be paying to see FIVE Magic games sitting in the same section. No thanks. I'd rather pay to see real basketball.

Netflix or kick back and watch something from my massive Blu-Ray catalog. That's what I watch when there's nothing good on TV.

This Pro-Bowl is a Fu*k'n Joke so far. It might as well be a touch football game. Sure I understand we don't want any injuries going on in the game but come on.
I'm turning it off already and It's only been on for 6 minutes.

Had no idea former Jaguar WR Jimmy Smith is tied 3rd all-time among most TD REC in a Pro Bowl game.

They need to bring back the skills competition. That was way more fun to watch than the actual game.

Couldn't agree more. Although I said I was turning it off I'm still watching it because it's so absurd. They should do wheelchair football next year.

Man I know the Packers aren't short of weapons on offense but the thought of Rodgers to Fitzgerald on a weekly basis would be sick!!!

I'm sure Jimmy Smith has no idea either.

Damn looked up the box score and 100 points scored and over 1,100 yards in the Pro Bowl. Guess Brandon Marshall is MVP with 177 yards and 4 TD's.

Rodney Harrison: "I would take Eli Manning over Brady". What's up with all this love for Manning? The guy wins a couple of playoff games and he is elevated to the rank of God above Peyton, Brady, Brees and Rodgers...

It's complete stupidity. Even if Eli helps the Giants win a 2nd Super Bowl with him at QB he's not close to being in the same league as Brady/Peyton/Rodgers/Brees. Post-season success matters but it's not the only thing that matters when considering greatness.

Here are each QB's regular season averages for their career as a full-time starter.

Eli Manning: 21 TD, 14 Int, 81 QB Rating
Tom Brady: 30 TD, 11 Int, 96 QB Rating
Peyton Manning: 31 TD, 15 Int, 95 QB Rating
Drew Brees: 28 TD, 15 Int94 QB Rating

It's easy to see which guy doesn't belong with the others. And I still think the Giants chances are being exaggerated for this Super Bowl. The media and fans are acting like the Giants are a favorite when they aren't. When all is said and done I'll bet the Pats win, Brady gets his 4th ring and Eli is still stuck with 1. Maybe the comparisons will end there.

Eli has been elite this year and played better than Brady last week (and outplayed Rodgers the week before that). What makes Brady such a lock anyway? He hasn't won a superbowl since the 2004 season and Eli beat him in the superbowl last time around. I'm not trying to knock Brady with that but just because he's won three super bowls and is married to a smoking hot wife doesn't mean he should get picked by default.

Who cares about career averages. The only thing that matters is what Eli is doing right now. Right now he is elite and has the ability to beat anyone.

He's a free agent and the Pro Bowl is the perfect way to show that he's fully healed.

Brady brought his team to the Super Bowl with one of the worst defense ever. Yeah, he's done, he should retire...

Peter King of SI and NBC Sports reported Sunday that Peyton Manning (neck surgeries) is "struggling" to get healthy.
Manning needs to get to 100 percent before March 8, when his roster bonus comes due, in order to have any prayer of seeing the $28 million payment. (It's not happening.) The new expectation around the league is that Manning will be released before the start of the NFL Scouting Combine in late February.

Mostly true. Rodgers played pretty well in the Division game, but I do think the Packers receiver corps really killed them there.

Eli played a good NFC game, but IMO the MVP of that one was Devin Thomas.

He did indeed. But the much aligned defense has come up big in the last 2.75 games.

All in all: I don't think either team has a super bowl in the bag. It's gonna be a fight.

I think its hilarious when commentators on tv try to say if Eli wins then he'll be better than Peyton because he'll have 2 Super Bowl rings and Peyton only has one. If you switched the defenses Peyton would probably have 4 rings and Eli would have 0.
