I'll bet Blackmon is gone before #6.

Cris Carter still not in the HOF is a complete joke. I can't believe he's still not in.

I guarantee being a jerk and not having any rings is hurting Cris.

they should just have an all-pro team as voted on by the players and coaches and each guy gets a bonus @ the end of the season and eliminate the pro bowl game all together.

I would much rather see the losers of the NFC/AFC championship games play than the pro bowl. Even when players tried it was still crap because there is not much team work or practice. Especially on the defensive side.

Despite being waived late Saturday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Tiquan Underwood is entitled to his full Super Bowl bonus.
The bonus is $88,000. Underwood would also receive a ring if the Patriots win. Per Schefter, Underwood was "unlikely to be active" against the Giants in the first place, so he's not losing much. While some media members have tried to make Bill Belichick look like a bad guy for waiving Underwood the day before the Super Bowl, the reality is Belichick is intent on winning, and the Giants could have claimed Underwood off waivers if the move had been made earlier in the week.

A consolation game for 3rd place? Not entirely unheard of, but I wonder what the 3rd place team would get.

That would be so much more exciting than the Pro Bowl, but I doubt it'd ever come to fruition. I know many soccer tournaments have such a game, but how many American sports have a third-place game? Uhhh, the College World Series?

Yes! Please eliminate this nonsense once and for all. It's not even a football game.

Haha I had to work today too. Fortunately I worked from 5:00 to 1:30, so now I'm just waiting for the game to begin!

Super Bowl Sunday should be a national holiday. I was making smalltalk with the grocery store clerk who rang up my beer yesterday, and he was lamenting that he had to work tonight. The female clerk in the lane behind me said that her boyfriend was stationed on a military base in South Korea and that the entire country gets a three-day weekend holiday break for the Super Bowl!

Yeah, it undoubtedly should be a federal holiday. That way everyone would get a three day weekend, and drink as much as they want during the game.
