Yeah, but did you notice Lawrence Tynes (the KICKER?!?!) is wearing HIS OWN SHIRT? Big ol #9 with a "Tynes" right above it. Every other player is just wearing street clothes (except for "big pimpin'" Hakeem Nicks rockin the cream suit), but Tynes has to tell everyone in NY exactly who he is. Aye yi yi!

No arguments who is the better pure QB. But I will take Eli any day, just because his temperament seems a lot more even. Peyton seems a bit more "hot-headed" whereas Eli never seems to show up his players, seems a LOT more patient, almost like a teacher would be. I wonder what Peyton would be like with the NY media.

Through all the craziness, he ended up being quite productive rushing for 10009 yards (4.1 yds/carry) and 66 TD's.

I remember when he signed with the CFL. We all thought he would dominate. After rushing for over 97 yards in his first game, he struggled then suffered injury after injury ending his season which included a metal door swinging open and ripping up his achilles tendon.

I thought Giants fans universally loathed Eli until the 2007 playoffs. Now they'd take him over Peyton?

In 2004 the joke used to be that they always picked the wrong brother. They had Tiki when they should have had Ronde (Tiki was still fumbling all the time then) and Eli, who was horrible in his rookie year while Peyton was having the best regular season of alltime.

Worked out pretty good in the end. Eli will never touch his brother overall but right now, Eli is the Manning you want.

Patriots Rob Gronkowski Dances with LMFAO after Super Bowl

Quote:
Win or lose, Gronk and the boys still booze.

Following their Super Bowl XLVI defeat to the Giants, members of the New England Patriots were spotted partying and rocking out with LMFAO at the team's official invite-only party at Victory Field, according to Deadspin.

The report indicates that some of the Pats players included Rob Gronkowski and Matt Light.

In addition to LMFAO, Steven Tyler and Maroon 5 and Earth, Wind and Fire were also among those reportedly in attendance.

I guess not all Pats were upset after losing

Honestly, I think that was probably more of a NY thing. I'm from Chicago, and have been a die-hard Giants fan since 88. Raising my son the same way. We didn't get to hear or read all the first hand hatred. I always liked the fact that he was just a level-headed guy, and seemed like a good guy, the kind you WANT to root for. He was frustrating for the first 3 years, but you could see that he was getting better.

And before anyone asks me why I'm not a Bears fan, it's because of this - most football "fans" are idiots. Ask stupid questions and know NOTHING about the game. I hear a lot of stupid Bears fans, and can't stand them. If I lived in NY, I would probably hate the Giants for the same reason.

The Giants announced Tuesday that further testing revealed a torn ACL for TE Jake Ballard.
Ballard attempted to return to the game, originally believing the injury to be a mere sprain. Travis Beckum also sustained a torn ACL, leaving tight end as a position of need entering the offseason. The recovery timetable is typically eight months, which means the PUP list is a possibility. An exclusive rights free agent, Ballard had solidified the position as a Kevin Boss clone before the late-season knee woes.

I would not have cared if someone turned off the Super Bowl while I was watching it since I had no emotional investment in the game.

Regardless of what kind of jersey it was, did it have to be one that screamed "I'M LAWRENCE TYNES!!!!!!!!!"?

You should just be glad he made all of his kicks, otherwise there's a good chance the Giants don't win, the ones he made looked a bit shaky.

I was at the giants stadium thing today & when they were showing the giants season highlites on the big screens 1 of the biggest cheers was when they sacked Romo.

Good to see that the giants still really hate us.

Michele Beisner from NFLN was there too....she is totally hot in person.

Several years ago I was at the pub watching the Super Bowl when the TV's lost signal mid-game for about one minute. It was pure pandemonium. People were screaming, cursing and one drunk guy picked up and was about to throw a bar stool. The signal came back on probably about 30 seconds before there was going to be a riot. You don't F with the Super Bowl... EVER.
