I'm still really down about our loss yesterday, we have to come out like a wounded animal that is cornered next Sunday. This game is going to show the character of our team. We took one right to the kisser yesterday, but we'll get right back up and pound the Chiefs! Go Bills!

It looks like David Nelson is going to be out for the season with a knee injury, and the extent of Freddy Jackson's knee is still unknown until he gets an MRI later today. The Nelson injury hurts a lot more than Jackson because of our lack of depth at receiver. Thank the good Lord we have Spiller to replace Jackson.
First I have to say NICE AVATAR MOVIEFAN, now with that out of the way I saw positives in the bills loss, C.J. Spiller FINALLY looked like a RB, he may just be a late bloomer but he looked VERY good. I think if he continues playing as is they move Fred to 3rd down/Goal line back you guys may just have something there.

Bills showed promise yesterday, they showed it last season as well. The big thing for me is Fitzpatrick why the hell your team gave him that monster extension is beyond me he continues to kill your team. If he can use Spiller and his TE more in emergency cases you might get rid of some of those int that absolutely kill your team on a weekly basis.

As for a receiver TO is always still out there...

O wait that experiment already failed once for you didn't it?

yea they had a great defense the 2 years they went to the AFC ship. but i didn't say "years" i said last year.. and they weren't top notch last year. they regressed on defense just like on offense.. 14 in the run is about half of the league.. so average at best, they went from 2nd to 6th in pass.. we will see how they pan out again this season, i have them going 8-8.. the Bills are embarassing, i hate to say it because you're a fan.. but they just don't know how to play a full season.. i honestly had them finishing 2nd in teh division this year but after yesterday's embarassment they move down to 3rd.. they pay all that money on defense for what? to have Mark Sanchez throw for 250 plus and 2 tds.. i dont think thats money well spent for Buffalo

Fitzy is going to be run out of town if he keeps playing like that. Believe me, the fans are UP IN ARMS about his play yesterday. He has to play better or he won't be in Buffalo next year.

Embarrassing them when in garbage time? That's where most of those yards came (except that 58 rushing TD). Please did you even watch the game? We had 4 TO. 3 picks by our top 3 CB's one of which went for a pick six. Wow 6th in pass defense is bad lol. 14th in run is average to slightly good. Let's also not forget that Sione Pouha who is our starting nose tackle was out. You say we aren't getting younger on defense. You don't know what you're talking about. Our DL consists of 1 rookie and 2 2nd year players. Revis is still relatively young, David Harris is 28, Cro is 28, Devito is 28, Kyle Wilson who can start on any other team in the league is in his 3rd year. Safety we need to get younger and LB we're working on. Overall I like our defense and I think we will be one of the better defenses in the league. By the way according to football-reference we were 5th ranked in the pass and 13th in the run. So we were better than 60 percent of the league in the run. Yeah that's bad .
Broncos as a great defense c'mon. They were ranked 22nd in rush defense and 18th in the pass. But yeah they are a great defense according to you . Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

I'm sure it will be dominance this year, but if you read waht i wrote i said im basing nothing off of this season and predictions, just going on the past 2-3 years.. the Falcons dont win playoff games but they get there every year, actually i can't remember but i think they won last year.
Going on the last 2-3 years makes even less sense to say the AFC West is better. And yes, Atlanta has lost in the playoffs twice in the last 2-3 years, to the eventual Super Bowl champs. But to say that any of the 4 teams in the AFC West could stand up to New Orleans and Atlanta during that stretch is laughable.

Fred Jackson MRI inconclusive, 'best case' 4-week return; WR David Nelson done with torn ACL?

By Will Brinson | Senior Blogger
September 10, 2012 2:01 pm ET

Long after the Bills got spanked 48-28 by the Jets on Sunday afternoon the nightmare for Buffalo is continuing, with some big injuries to important players on offense. CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora reports that Fred Jackson had an MRI on his knee Monday and the results were inconclusive, but that "best case," Jackson returns in four weeks.

Jackson sprained his lateral collateral ligament (LCL) on a nasty-looking tackle (view it above) in the first half and never returned to the game. The Bills were holding out hope that he'd have a positive return on the MRI Monday, but that's not the case, even if the results aren't entirely negative. According to La Canfora, the injury will be monitored over the next 7-10 days.

Much worse news is the report from Adam Schefter of ESPN that wideout David Nelson suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

After catching 61 passes for 658 yards in 2011, the 6'5" Nelson looked like a potential breakout candidate for Buffalo. Or, worst case, a really productive slot receiver in Chan Gailey's offense.

C.J. Spiller -- who rushed for 169 (largely worthless) yards on Sunday -- is the obvious replacement at running back. With Nelson out, Donald Jones and rookie speedster T.J. Graham will have to step up and make an impact in the passing game for a Bills team that is suddenly reeling.
Man what a nightmare beginning for us this season.

Don't mind him he likes to skew statistics and use faulty reasoning to get his point across. In one instance, he uses stats based on the last 2-3 years and conveniently in another he wants to go off of a year of stats lol.

Good thing for Manning his receivers are very good at blocking, that'll help keep him upright, send Tebow a thank you card lol

This is a playoff team, the only concerns is the QB is 36 and the RB is 30

NFL suspended Browns CB Joe Haden four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Cleveland's defense already couldn't stop the run, and now threatens to be among the league's most vulnerable against the pass minus its top defensive back and overall defender. The Browns' bye isn't until Week 10, so Haden will be eligible to return in Week 6. He'll miss matchups with the Bengals, Bills, Ravens, and Giants. The Browns often use Haden to "shadow" opposing No. 1 receivers, so A.J. Green, Stevie Johnson, Torrey Smith, and Hakeem Nicks all get breaks. Cleveland's next best cornerback is fading 33-year-old Sheldon Brown. If Sunday's opener against the Eagles was any indication, likely fill-in Buster Skrine is going to get torched in nickel packages over the next month. Dimitri Patterson will start, but kicks to the slot in sub-packages.

haha yea Wilson could start on any team and their are also a lot of horrible corners that start in this league as wel, wilson is one of them..i love teh rolling of the eyes.. typical Jet fan its not worth arguing football with you guys because Jet fans are most annoying fans in the world 43 years and counting until you guys have seen a superbowl

good luck this season like every season, ill come back to this thread in Feb.

oh by the way why would i want to drink the Bronco kool-aid if im a Raiders fan
