I'm more amazed the Falcons are 6-0 than the Chiefs are 1-5, but.... I am blown away by the fact that the Chiefs have had the lead for exactly 0 seconds this season! After 6 games, they have only had the lead on the final play in OT against the Saints.

I'm still not happy about the Pats game yesterday and feel like a lot of it can be put on the coaching staff and Tom Brady. Brady cost the team at least six points with two stupid plays. One of the plays was at the end of the first half when the Pats were inside the Seattle 10 yard and Brady got a stupid intentional grounding which caused a 10 second runoff that ended the half. The play was similar to the Super Bowl where Brady wasn't really under pressure and just threw it away to the middle of the field where no receiver was around. Brady also had a 4th quarter interception inside the Seattle 10 where he tried to force it to Welker rather than play it safe and get the field goal.

I'd put more blame on the coaching staff though. For one thing the Pats gave up on the rush way too quick. Ridley was struggling but they should have given Bolden and Woodhead more attempts to try and get a more balanced offense. In addition the defensive coaching way just terrible. On the Seahawks touchdown to pull within 6 the Pats had rookie 7th round pick Alfonzo Dennard alone on Braylon Edwards. Braylon had 5 inches on Dennard and is a far superior player and is going to win the matchup every time. If Romeo Crennel gets fired by the Chiefs the Pats need to bring him back.

On the plus side, the Pats remaining schedule is pretty favorable. They don't play a true road game for over a month and their next four games are home against the Jets, in London against the Rams, bye week, then home games against the Bills and Dolphins. If they play the way they can they should be able to win all of those before back-to-back divisional road games against the Jets and Dolphins.

Drops happen.

Name one other coaching staff in the NFL today who, with 34 seconds and a timeout, only manages to get off one play before settling for a kicker's career long field goal attempt.

Good teams would have easily had 6 attempts to get a better field goal. You get two plays by just using the timeout immediately, even if you do nothing else.

And this is the second time Garrett and co. have done this. You'd think he'd have learned the first time.

i guess that's the draw back of going 15-1....everyone expects you to be that good all the time.

oh well, hopefully Green and Starks can do well enough to take some pressure off of Rodgers and make defenses respect the run enough.

That game was ugly!! We better show up next week against the Ravens.

Still, 5-1 is not bad. Go Texans!

Lets face it our team just blew it yesterday. We had it in hand and lost it. Yes I blame Tom for a little of it but but the defense let us down in the end. The best thing to do is put it behind us and concentrate on the Jets. The Pats will bounce back....their too good not to.

Packers' D was more banged up and they still won. It wasn't a defense that beat the Texans, it was throwing enough to neutralize JJ Watt.

As long as Flacco can throw them shot passes to Dickson, Pitta, Rice, Boldin, and Jones they should be able to win.

GO RAVENS!

***CORRECTION***
the packers D got banged up!!

and yes, Watt was taken out of the game which allowed our offense to actually function like an NFL offense for once.

It's been confirmed that Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb tore his left ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. There's no word yet on the severity of Ray Lewis' triceps injury.

Dude just can't stay healthy. seems like there's a problem every year and this one's much bigger. With that and Ray Lewis being hurt we're gonna need the backups to shine finally. I'm looking at you Sergio Kindle and Jimmy Smith.

i went to bed at 6 yesterday and DVR'd the game only to wake up and find out this clusterf*ck of a game happened instantly deleted it from my DVR, no point in watching a massacre.

a complete embarassment for Houston. at home, in prime time and you get trampled. but yay, we're 5-1!

of course, facing an angry Packers team was probably the worst card the Texans could have drawn, but still, my god. highlights were enough for this trainwreck.

way to drop the ball Houston

I blame the play calling for this one dood, no BS they run the ball to damn much. You have freaking Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels USE THEM MORE. Giving the ball to Foster 75% of the time is not a good offense lol, They honestly should be putting Foster out in the flat more for a halfback pass and letting him go. Foster and Daniels used this way would help open Andre up so much. But for some odd reason lets give it to Andre and let him get only 10 yards a catch.. REALLY???
