Really, you are surprised? There have been speculations in the last 2 months.

The Raiders could save $5.341 million against the 2013 salary cap by releasing Darrius Heyward-Bey.

DHB is due a prohibitive $7.721 million base salary in the final year of his rookie deal.

Welker's best days are probably behind him, Amendola would be a very suitable replacement. I do wonder what kind of money Welker is asking for. Buffalo has been very quiet thus far. I know we weren't planning on making any big signings, but I would love to see us sign Keller and Gibson. That would dramatically take some pressure off Stevie.
