Hey that's what makes the draft so great, you never know whats going to happen.

He wasnt going before Smith or Nassib as I said before the guy is nothing special at QB had they waited a year they may have gotten something better.

Yes im aware of that because hes coaching the Bills, seriously dont try to defend the mediocre at best pick. Its not just us here saying wow reach and bad pick, its every analyst on every network, including nfl.com

Yeah and every analyst is always right, if that was the case there wouldn't be any Ryan Leafs right? The draft is not a exact science, so we don't how these guys are going to turn out. Some teams draft on potential with EJ has more upside then any other QB in this draft IMO. Alright let me be clear, I'm not defending where he got picked but defending that he was the first QB picked.

Noone is arguing that he shouldnt have been the first QB picked were arguing where he got picked. Thats the issue, upside is great, but at the expense of filling other needs it is not a good thing. The Bills are not the Patriots, 49ers, Ravens etc they cannot afford to pass up sure fire talent for an upside.

It seems like you and the Bills organization were looking at Manuel and seeing something very different than every other franchise and nearly all fans. Watching him in college left me with the impression he's most likely somewhere between a mediocre to average NFL QB.

I also think what help him, is its a copy cat league. Everyone wants a spread option QB now and he didn't even run the spread.

I would say below average QB. He is nothing great..not even close. Unless he pulls a tom brady..it was a wasted pick IMO

LSU cornerback Tharold Simon, who is projected to be a mid-round pick, was arrested last night in his hometown of Eunice, Louisiana after arguing with a police officer about moving his car which was blocking a street. He was charged with public intimidation, resisting an officer, and unnecessary noise violation. Today is "Tharold Simon Day" in Eunice, with a ceremony tonight in his honor.

That's what I was thinking. I've never heard of that charge. Then again it's Louisiana, which has a legal system unique from any other state given it's heavily French influenced.
