Love it when people assume that because he is a sports star he is innocent, that was some ignorant people in the court room to be chanting that. Granted I am reserving my judgement for what the judge says, but it looks like they have a very strong case against Hernandez unfortunately.

Oh I know, I feel the same way. With all the evidence that has been reported, I don't see how anybody can say he's innocent. I mean, I'm all about "Innocent until proven guilty" but c'mon the guy has almost no chance.

It's also hard to imagine a DA taking a shot on a high profile athlete like this without feeling that they have a knockout.

Oh snap.... more news on the double homicide last year:

What is known is that the Boston Police Department has located and impounded a silver SUV with Rhode Island registration that police have been trying to find for almost a year, which is linked to the scene of a double homicide in 2012, the source said.

Investigators believe that Hernandez was renting the SUV at the time of those killings, the source said.

Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent, who killed teammate Jerry Brown while drunk driving late last year and is facing intoxication manslaughter charges, is back in jail after failing a drug test for marijuana. He had been out on bond. He also failed a drug test earlier this month.

I was wondering why I wasn't get updates on that. They came through but got stamped out by the newer Hernandez news. Kind of was looking for the indictment news, not going to lie, it's a bit more important.

Aside from that, Hernandez reeks of guilt.

Many people might think you're kidding, but that really happens quite a bit down here in Florida. Someone from my high school class was done in like that. Someone "whacked him" several years ago and his body was only identified from a tattoo on a body part that the gators had not yet eaten in Tomoka State Park. There was never so much as a suspect in the case.

Nope, Jerry's a good ol' boy, he doesn't cut people that often. Wish they had shored up the middle of that line a bit through the draft. His buddy Jay Ratliff also had a drunk driving incident shortly after Brent killed his teammate, it's surprising either of them are still with the team.

Just heard on ESPN that Hernandez actually asked jail officials if they had any workout equipment for him to exercise and keep busy... It's mind blowing that this kid can be so out of touch with the gravity of what he has been implicated in, it must be a joke to him.
