The jerseys had to be bought from the Patriots ProShop or PatriotsProShop.com. It also has to be done directly at the ProShop at Gillette Stadium.

The New England Patriots ProShop will offer a free jersey exchange of any #81 Hernandez jersey purchased at the Patriots ProShop or online at PatriotsProShop.com for a new Patriots jersey of comparable value. The free jersey exchange will be available exclusively at the Patriots ProShop the weekend of Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.

“We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys, but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore,” said New England Patriots spokesperson Stacey James. “We hope this opportunity to exchange those jerseys at the Patriots ProShop for another player’s jersey will be well received by parents.”

This opportunity for a free exchange of jerseys is limited to the weekend of July 6-7 and is available only at the Patriots ProShop located at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The hours of operation are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 and from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7. The exchange is for jerseys available in the Patriots ProShop only and is limited to one per person.

bought mine last year in the pro shop during the AZ home opener..i am there for every home game

Apparently CNN's earlier report of a rental car matching the SUV from the July 2012 being found and rented by Hernandez was incorrect. But it's worse.... they've impounded a silver SUV matching descriptions in Bristol, CT... and it's registered to Hernandez.

Damn it keeps getting worst and worst for him. If anything else comes out he might want to think about cutting a deal him self. He's going to have to wave the white flag at some point.

I can bet the prosecution won't let him cut a deal. If they feel it's a home run..they will say F you, you are going away for life

You can't blame them for that. This is a cold blooded killer that will kill again if given the opportunity. Fortunately one day, he will face the ultimate judgement.

I seriously doubt he will. Massachusetts has no death penalty. Considering the prosecution has no incentive to accept anything less than life without probation (or probation a LONG time down the road) it's hard to see Hernandez take any option other than roll the dice.

Ya they want life with no chance at parole.they won't take a 20 year agreement here. It's all or nothing and i really hope its all if all the signs point to him (which they do)

The league has already scrubbed Hernandez's stats off their website, and anything the Patriots can do to make anyone forget they were ever a part of this, they’re going to do.

Sounds like studying players on field performance is pretty much non existent anymore. It's all about making sure college players aren't head cases.
