Interesting they'd send the Jags-Cowboys game to London. The Cowboys have a ton of fans across the country and it likely would have had a chance at being a legit sellout. The Jags only get to host the Cowboys once every eight years so I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of disappointed Cowboy fans living in the Jacksonville area.

It's only going to get worse. While I don't think they'll move a team to London I think they'll increase the number of games there. I could see them going to 8 games a year there with 1 game a week between weeks 4 and 11, with the teams playing in the game getting a bye the next week.

I've read that there are other European cities interested in hosting a regular season NFL game as well.

The jags next year also still have home games against the giants who have alot of transplant NYers living in florida & the steelers who have lots of fans everywhere.

I am still convinced the Jags are the team that will move to London, every team has an out clause with its respective leases that will allow it out if the attendance for the year falls below a certain revenue %. The Jags seem to be the only team every year that has a game there.

The Jags lease does not contain any attendance clause or any clause that allows them to leave without penalty. The only way for the Jags to leave is if they bought their way out of their lease, which would cost roughly $120-$135 million. They can lower that amount if they can prove they lost money for one season and were below the NFL's average revenue for two years. While they would undoubtedly be below the NFL's average revenue virtually every year the current CBA and TV contracts make it virtually impossible for a team to be unprofitable.

In addition the Jags have solid attendance. Last year they were 21st in both paid attendance and average percentage of the stadium filled. Part of the percentage of paid attendance number is because they tarp roughly 10,000 seats, but the Jags still had more tickets sold per game then teams like the Steelers, Bears, Cardinals, and Vikings.

Greg Schiano should be first coach fired

next up Leslie Frazier

Ron Rivera seems to have salvaged his job by getting the defense in to an elite unit (top 5 across the board) and the offense is slowly rounding in to shape as well, Panthers will probably be over .500 by tonight.

I wouldn't be surprised if Schiano is fired over the weekend if they lose tonight. His players hate him and he completely screwed up the Josh Freeman situation. The only way he could keep his job for a while is if the Bucs are trying to gather evidence that he leaked the Freeman drug test story to the press, which would give them a chance to fire him with cause and not have to pay the remainder of his contract.

I don't think they'll go back to the NCAA after the failure of Schiano.

Bucs are 0-7. Who do they beat? St. Louis? Could there be 2 winless teams?

There were rumors recently of a Super Bowl in London. A Super Bowl would be like Europe playing the Euro Cup in the U.S. Makes no sense. I don't know when the NFL will get the message. Europeans give even less of a shit about American football than we do about soccer.

The Buccaneers have lots of talent on their team, but they have a horrible coaching staff that need to get sacked and it starts with Schiano. Plus, they'll have a top pick for their choice of QB.

Had to pick up a RB to start in my 12 team league. Grabbed Mike Tolbert and he made me look like a smart man.

I bet the Bucs would still be favored by a TD if they played the Jags. The Bucs actually came close to winning a few games. The Jags have lost every game by double-digits. Check out the point differential for the 0-7 teams.

Tampa Bay -63
Jacksonville -146

Tampa does have a tough remaining schedule. But I'd keep an eye on the final game of the season vs. New Orleans. If the Saints have nothing to play for they might sit out their starters.
