damn I love Marshawn, that was a cool move.

and to whoever said he might have social anxiety, it could be that.

He has always hated talking with the media. Social anxiety is my guess. I don't blame him. I would hate getting in front of all those cameras.

I love that guy... he's funny. Gonna shred that Broncos defense. GO HAWKS!!!

And btw I got your PM from a couple weeks ago and tried to respond to it... but for whatever reason it said you couldn't receive PM's.

So basically... I'm not selling anything at the moment (because I'm never home and don't have the time), and I removed my FS/FT thread from my sig. My bad.

I want nothing more than to be able to rub it in to all the Tennessee Peyton d*ck swingers on Monday. Their lack of support for the pro team that's here in this state is disgusting. And their allegiance to a guy who played for the state's university 15 years ago is nothing short of absurd. When the Colts drafted him, UT fans became Colts fans. When Peyton left for the Broncos, they became Broncos fans (and remained Colts fans when the Colts are doing well). Choose one team... and if you want to pull for another make sure it has no ties to your team in any way. I have been going for the Seahawks when the Titans aren't playing for years. Tennessee is supposed to be one of the biggest football states... prove it and support the Titans. But what pisses me off all the people who were normally not Titans fans decided to hop on the bandwagon in 2008. GTFO. Don't ever come back again... but don't worry, they'll be back whenever we're good again (it'll happen, don't hate).

F all of that. Tennessee is seriously retarded. I love Nashville, but my god the rest of this state irks me beyond belief (in more ways than just sports). If you ever stereotype Tennessee, please leave Nashville out of it. The rest of the state is completely fine to make fun of.

I respect all fans of other teams if they have a legitimate reason for following them. I hate all fans who jump on Peyton's nuts and follow him wherever. Those same fans also ruined our chance at getting Peyton two years ago. It was between the Broncos and Titans for Peyton. And while Elway (and our scrub coaching staff) was probably the reason for him ultimately choosing the Broncos over us, the UT fans really ****ed up and turned Peyton off completely. Nashville began going balls deep in Peyton before he even made up his mind. He would've been king here... and that's actually part of the reason he decided not to come here. At the time we were #2 in pass protection.

AGGGGGHHHHHHHH. Oh what could have been had he become a Titan. Would've been a fun ride.

I have no beef with the Broncos... just Tennessee Peyton d*ck swingers.

Let's not forget his failures at UT. Peyton went 0-4 against the rival Gators when he was a Vol. Then UT won the national championship the year after Peyton graduated.

I'm curious to see how many hops on the bandwagon in 2 years when Tennessee starts to do well. (2 years cause Locker sucks and they'll stick with him for a year before dumping him)

A sample of his insights: (a little bit from Marshawns SB media day)
[Show spoiler]
On his feelings about media day and the fans who attended: "Man, I appreciate this. This is love right here, straight up. They came to watch people get interviewed? This is amazing right here, man."

On why his interviews are, as a reporter characterized them, uncomfortable: "I think you're just taking it wrong. [It] don't make me uncomfortable."

On whether he enjoys the media attention: "Nope. I'm just about action. You say, 'hut,' and there's action. All the unnecessary talk, it don't do nothing for me. I appreciate that people want to hear from me, but I just go to work and do my thing. You feel me?"

There was a little more, about Denver's defense and winning a high school football championship in Oakland and then one about being traded from Buffalo to Seattle in 2010.

The last answer came next, after Lynch was asked whether he has been able to enjoy the moment of being at his first Super Bowl as a player: "A little bit. I won't be satisfied with this until it's all over. When we win, that's when I'll be satisfied. Until then, I've got work, but I appreciate all this.

"Ya'll have a good day."

Then, Lynch bounced.

Even if you don't like him, you've got to respect that.

I think Dallas is going to be an absolute disaster next year. They are replacing their coordinators but rather than firing them they're demoting them. They hired Scott Linehan as their passing game coordinator and he will call plays next season, while Bill Callahan will keep his offensive coordinator title but have severely diminished duties. Rod Marinelli has been promoted to defensive coordinator, and Monte Kiffin has been demoted to assistant head coach/defense. I think it would have made a lot more sense to just fire Callahan and Kiffin rather than try and get them to go along with their demotions. Throw in the fact that the Cowboys are over $20 million over the projected salary cap which means they won't be able to sign any big money free agents and it seems like next year will be another 8-8 (at best) team, which will lead to the entire coaching staff being fired.

A few things here. Firing Kiffin would have resulted in Marinelli leaving as Marinelli and Kiffin are really close. The OC thing right now is very confusing but I would guess that Linehan will be calling all plays regardless of what Callahan's title is. As for being over the cap, the Cowboys are always over the cap but they will find a way to get just under because they will most likely cut Miles Austin and either cut Demarcus Ware or he will take a severe pay cut. Signing free agents in the NFL is not the winning formula IMO. Winning teams usually sign some under the radar free agents but drafting well is the key to success with the best teams in the league. The Cowboys need to draft better and especially this draft needs to be defense heavy. It doesn't matter who the defensive coordinator is if you don't have the horses to play on defense and currently the Cowboys don't have those horses.

It is very strange because the Browns and Ravens both wanted to interview Callahan but the Cowboys refused to give permission...

I have no idea why they didn't let him go if they wanted Linehan.. I read Callahan will run the o-line

Dallas could easily fall on their face with this f'd up coaching staff, but with the talent on the team and a vertical offense for Romo doesn't sound too worse than another 8-8 season.

Talented TCU sophomore DE Devonte Fields was attacked and robbed at his off-campus home on Tuesday.
Quote:
The incident involved three suspects, and "one of the suspects hit Fields on the top of the head with a black semi-automatic pistol and pushed him into" the defensive end's house, according to the Fort Worth Police Department incident report. Two of the suspects then started assaulting Fields and another later pointed his gun at the defensive end and threatened to kill him. Five shots were reportedly fired in the air. Fields told police he did not want to press charges. The sophomore has a small history of off-field incidents, which led to a suspension, but this is serious stuff.
Scary stuff..also curious

Teddy Bridgewater's draft stock seems to be sliding a bit. A saw a mock today where he didn't go to #10.

And Bortles is sky high. I've seen some mocks with him going #1.

Bill O'Brien and George O'Leary are very friendly towards one another, and George has probably sweet talked him about George O'Leary. Plus he saw Bortles up close and came away impressed. That would be something if he was drafted #1.

Pre-combine/workout/free agency mocks are meaningless (yet I still look at a ton of them). The teams have no idea who they're drafting at this point, so it's purely a guessing game. There's probably someone that many mocks have going in the top 10 that will end up being a second round pick (like last January's consensus #1 pick Geno Smith), and there's probably guys projected in the third round that will end up in the 10-20 range. The only way someone's draft stock can change in late-January is if they get injured or arrested.
