A player should never take a prescription drug or supplement without calling that number regardless of what their doctor may say about the legality of the drug.
Rules coming from the most hypocritical organization in sports why should anyone follow anything. Lets be real if a doctor prescribed the drug and they are a legitimate doctor backed by there state certified board the NFL should not be suspending players for said substance. Doctors prescribe what they believe to be in there patients best interest. Example if someone gets pneumonia your telling me the best course of treatment which is a banned NFL substance btw, the doctor is not allowed to prescribe so his patient can get better. Give me a break.

They had to pick random places that don't have both leagues. St Louis got OKC, KC got Sacramento, etc

At least there is a connection with KC and Sacramento. Before they were the Sacramento Kings they were the Kansas City Kings.

Supplemental draft was today. For the second straight year nobody got picked. The last player to get picked in the supplemental draft was Josh Gordon in 2012.

Interesting!
A shame that the guy is just pissing away such talent. I can't even begin to say how much it infuriates me when these guys, who, basically, are among the top 1%...IN THE WORLD...and are handed "the keys to the kingdom", yet ruin it all with poor decision making.
It is so hard to make it to the professional level, extemely hard, and this guy, clearly, had top tier talent. I can't shake my head, ruefully, enough!
Perhaps D1 schools should start making all athletes take some sort of "How to make good decisions in Life" class, as part any playing requirement.

Source - http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-...ar-altercation

Quote:
Dolphins lineman Mike Pouncey and Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey are twins and, as such, celebrate their birthday every year together. Their party this year reportedly involved an altercation the police are looking into.

According to the Palm Beach New-Times, the Miami Beach Police Department is looking into an alleged altercation at the Cameo Nightclub in Miami Beach, Florida.

The Pounceys held their birthday party there on Friday night and a man named Ricky Vasquez alleges he was assaulted by the brothers.

"There was an incident that occurred at Cameo last night at 4:20 a.m., where an alleged assault took place," Miami Beach Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez told the New Times. "We have not confirmed it's the Pouncey brothers that are the subjects, but we are going to have detectives contacting the victims to investigate further."

If the name of the club sounds familiar, it should: the Pounceys previously showed up to their brothers birthday bash wearing "Free Hernandez" hats to show solidarity for their former Florida teammate Aaron Hernandez.

That went over ... poorly.

Pro Football Talk reports the "preliminary evidence indicates the Pounceys were not involved in the alleged assault."

Vazquez tweeted at 4:53 a.m. he "just got jumped by 4 bouncers and the Pouncey Twins at Cameo" adding that he planned "to press charges."

Erin Andrews new #1 FOX sideline reporter on the Buck/Aikman crew.

Pam Oliver bumped to #2 crew with Burkardt/Lynch.

When in doubt go with the 17 years younger chick.

edit:
Also FOX hired Holly Sonders away from the golf channel.

Disappointed but not surprised. At least Pam didn't get let go completely.

This will be her final year as a sideline reporter. They planned to remove her completely from football games but she convinced Fox to give her one more season as this will be her 20th season. She's signed a contract extension with Fox Sports but after this season she won't be working games.

Crooked Browns owner Jimmy Haslem bought his way out of federal prosecution for fraud. Hooray for "rich peoples' justice."

http://deadspin.com/browns-owner-avo...-se-1604799901

Quote:
Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, who is the CEO of a truck stop empire that committed a whole bunch of fraud, probably won't be spending any time in prison for presiding over a company that bilked customers out of tens of millions of dollars. That's because his company, Pilot Flying J, just agreed to pay $92 million to the U.S. government in exchange for an assurance from the feds that he and his company will not be prosecuted.

Haslam's company has already paid $56 million in settlement money to other companies that were sued once the fraud—which consisted of Pilot Flying J offering outrageous fuel rebates that it just never paid—became public. And so Haslam, who maintains that he knew nothing about the scam despite being the CEO and having been at a meeting where the scam was discussed, has purchased himself a very expensive get-out-of-jail-free card.

Technically, Haslam isn't completely out of the woods just yet. This latest settlement protects him from federal prosecution, but he is still vulnerable to prosecution from any of his company's defrauded customers who still wants to bring a case. But Haslam will likely be able to settle any such case, and in all likelihood we are once again going to see him yukking it up like a shitbag in his owner's box, as only a man who has enough money to beat a federal charge can.
