It's disturbing to me as a fan to never get any sort of recognition for a huge win... especially when they're giving tons of other (non-playoff) teams massive credit. But they just ignore us completely.

To the Bills and Dolphins fans in here (the other two biggest "upset" wins of the weekend)... Imagine if after your hard earned victory against a favored team got absolutely no attention. None. Imagine staying up until 2am (I did this the other night) hoping to see your team's highlights after a dominating performance against a team that was picked by everyone to win. That's what I go through every win we get. I remember on school nights in high school staying up all night waiting for our highlights only to see several rotations of other teams before showing ours (if they showed them at all before every person in America was asleep). It's no wonder no one knows about us. You guys don't even have access to our damn highlights on ESPN. You get highlights of 30 other teams, but not ours.

I am ****ing sick of it. Do we deserve some crazy respect? No. We have to earn that. But if you're going to show Dolphins, Bills, Jets, Texans, Jags, Vikings, etc highlights, you damn well better show ours.

Oh well. It'll only motivate our guys more to know that everyone thinks they suck and can't win games. After we start 3-1 (or possibly 4-0 *crossing my fingers), the league will be on notice. Very confident in the direction of our team and the ability of our legitimacy coaching staff after having a high school quality staff the last few years.

You guys don't care. I know. We're the battered child of the NFL. And it sucks. Just had to rant a bit.

What Ray Rice did was horrible, and no woman should ever go through that, but I think the punishment is too harsh(being cut) and he deserves a second chance. We've all made mistakes in our lives and learn from them, I think 6-8 games should have been the punishment and would have been more then fair.

^i'd have to agree, too lenient the first time around and now a little excessive

Career possibly done, millions lost, personal life in the spotlight, and name forever linked with domestic violence, I say ray rice has paid the price and then some

Everyone is talking about rice but no one is saying anything about hardy. I think what hardy did was much worse than what rice did.

He won't be in prison because she assaulted him first...... Learn to understand laws and how they are written not how you would interpret them.

One of the most unreported crimes is domestic violence in which a man is abused by a woman. What Ray did was very wrong, but I don't know if we know all the details.

That's why lawyers all over TV say the prosecutor screwed up by not going after him? All of THOSE people also need to understand laws and how they are written too?

Of course look at how many said that Zimmerman would be convicted. Same for Casey Anthony. Just because these lawyers are saying to prosecute for ratings doesn't mean the DA would win a case like this. Don't try to backhand my intelligence because you are unable to understand laws. You assault someone that person has the right to defend themselves against any individual female or male. Whether people believe rice should have done what he did is another matter. From a legality matter he did not commit a crime...

Do you believe everything that comes out of that magical box? It said people have the latent ability to fly as well. Why don't you give it a go.... That's called being a part of the flock of sheeple.

Ya, we all make mistakes. Thing is most of us never make the "mistake" of knocking a woman out cold then dragging her unconscious body out of an elevator. If she had a weapon I could see his actions being justified as "self defense." But she didn't. He knocked out a woman who couldn't defend herself against him. And here we are, with many still "mansplaining" away his actions.

Who is mansplaining lol? You do not have to be in possession of a weapon to lawfully defend yourself. I never said what Rice did was right. In fact he took it too far. I simply said that he did not commit a criminal act with his actions....

He actually did commit a criminal act. He was indicted on aggravated assault charges for the crime. As with most criminal cases the matter was settled without going to a trial, probably due to his first time offender status and the fact that Ray Rice could afford a top-notch team of lawyers - ie rich peoples' justice. Only a paranoid nut could possibly look at that video and believe Ray Rice cold cocking his fiance was "self defense." Rice may have gotten off criminally but I'm content knowing he'll have trouble ever finding another NFL job again.

Yep, barely 3 ypc last season and I think 27 or 28. Nobody is going to want anything to do with this guy when he's reinstated.
