ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo left quite an impression on Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and his family – so much so, that part of his own family could be rooting for the Bills this Sunday.

“I’m still trying to convince my seven-year old, in this game at least, to be a Texans fan and not a Bills fan… we’re kind of a torn household right now,” said Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick’s Houston Texans will host his former team this Sunday, with plenty of his friends and former teammates on the opposing sideline.

“Definitely no hard feelings with the way that it went down. I think the little added, whatever it is that I’m going to feel in this game is more so because of the guys I’m going to be playing against. Just having so many good buddies. That’s what’s going to give me the extra fuel, the extra competitiveness in this game,” said Fitzpatrick.

He even joked about the sudden influx of #14 jerseys in the stands on Bills’ gamedays, now that Sammy Watkins is in the fold.

“Even watching the film, I think it’s amazing that there are now more 14 jerseys than there were when I was there. I just think the support for me has really grown, especially in the last year for some reason, since the draft, with all those 14 jerseys. I think that’s really cool,” said Fitzpatrick. “Wait, is there a new 14 on the team?”

His teammates look forward to the matchup, just as much as Fitzpatrick.

“We’ve been talking for two, three weeks now, and I’ve talked to him every day this week. It’ll be a lot of fun. I told him, I hope he has the game of his life, but we still kick his butt,” said running back Fred Jackson.

The loyalty of Bills fans is unmatched. Fitzy is a good guy, and I do sincerely wish him the best. Just not this coming Sunday.

Wanna see Eli get picked off 4 times, the best second half team go against the worst second half team, and the Cowboys go into a shootout.

I was almost going to pick my Iggles to win this week, in all my pick'em pools, but just couldn't do it. I just don't see SF losing 3 games in a row, especially with this one at home. Plus this will be one of the better D's Philly has faced, no slight to Washington. So all that adds up to a SF win, unfortunately.

Looking forward to tonight's game. I've got Cousins to repleace Manning...so let's go!! Also Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuz, so I'd love to see 100pts scored.
And then to top it all off, I'd love to see New Orleans just pummel Dallas.

LOL! It's not about believing, more about reasonable expectations.
If they can win 3/4 game, that's 12-4 on the season, and I'm very okay with that!
Undefeated regular seasons are hard to come by. Even the mighty Patriots folded in the Superbowl after going undefeated, so losses are going to happen.
I don't mind the losses(well I do, but...)as long as my team played well. No dumb, drive-extending penalties, not a bunch of 3-n-outs, etc.
I've always said, Championships are nice - obviously...but I'll take interesting in the meanwhile.
