I can't recall what Hurns' stats were in Week#1 against Philly, but that is kind of misleading as Philly has one of the worst, if not THE worst DB's in the league.
If Cary Williams could just channel the energy from his nonstop mouth to his leg...he would be the top shut-down CB in the league. Poor Malcom Jenkins, it's like he's the only one back there covering people.

I believe when we played you Week 1, Hurns caught 2 TD's in the 1st half.

Indeed because Jax didn't score any points in the 2nd half.
I was just pointing out that if you wanted a more accurate per game average of Hurns' output, I would factor out that Philly game as that soft-ass DB won't be present every game going forward. Not to slight the guy, as I stashed him in one of my 12-team leagues(just in case), but that week might have been an exception.

I meant Allen Robinson, not Denard. I don't see Sholace being a starter anywhere. Perhaps a serviceable change of pace guy

I wouldn't knock Denard to much the guy can run, if they put a good line in front of him I think hes better then Gerhart.

Oh yeah probably not if Denard Robinson played outside of Jacksonville. He did have more playing time after Gerhart fumbled in the beginning of the game last week. I wouldn't be surprised of Coach Bradley continues to let Denard play more at RB and possibly be the starter. When Denard runs, he has the speed but he doesn't run low like a normal back. Might be due to the fact he plays WR, and then some QB in college

As for Allen he had a couple catches for big gains a couple weeks. He'll probably be our #2 depending on Cecil Shorts.

The guy started 4 years in College as QB lol, his 1 and only college game at WR was the Senior Bowl

Since Pioli left it's been all Belichick and the team has been pretty poor at drafting and free agency. Julian Edelman is the only player they've ever developed into a capable receiver despite using several picks on receivers. They've stayed competitive largely because of Brady but he can't do everything.

The Logan Mankins trade killed any shot at a successful season. When they made the trade I figured they had a guard to take his spot but that's clearly not the case so the Patriots now have a pitiful offensive line and Tim Wright, the player they acquired in the Mankins deal (in addition to a 4th round pick) has been a complete non-factor. The Pats still have a good chance at making the playoffs because of their division, but unless the team completely turns it around they'll be one and done.
They have a lot more issues then BB. The entire coaching staff and the OL. Jimmy G was great when he came into the game vs their 1s...but guess what? He got sacked.

No QB would be successful here with this line. Like Young said he doesn't know how brady made this team look so good the past few years based on their lack of talent at WR and depth behind Gronk. But with a bad OL it's too much to overcome for him.

THey need to go out and make a trade for OL. Help at WR won't help becasue they still wouldn't have time to get open. It was great they took Jimmy G as i think he can be very good in this league...but not taking OL at that pick when you had an idea you would trade Mankins? Just not smart

Luckily for them the AFC East stinks with them right now so 10-6 or maybe even 9-7 will win the division which is where i think they will finish at this year. (10-6)

But i do think they win Sunday night.

We'll trade you Warmack and Levitre... and then you can have massively overpaid guards.

Also if you want a LT since Solder looks bad, we'll trade you Roos... This is actually more realistic. This is going to be his last year here. We have Lewan in waiting.

Levitre played really well when he was with us. I guess his effort went out the window after he got paid.

Yea... I wanted him and was so happy when we signed him.

He's been awful though.

Clearly DirecTV isn't worried about the various scandals hurting the NFL's popularity:

Even with the FCC hammering the NFL and going after their broadcast revenue because of the name of the Washington franchise? Risky.

Wow! I was wondering what was going to happen with NFL Sunday Ticket and Directv. Thank you for posting this.

There is nothing risky about that investment by DirecTV. Money well spent.

Exactly. Without the ticket, I would think Directv would lose a sizable part of their customer base. Basically a no-brainer for them.
I was prepared to move to Verizon, had they not renewed the ticket.

Quote:
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- We're just one practice into the Kyle Orton era, but the Buffalo Bills' top receivers have already noticed a difference in Orton from former starter EJ Manuel.

"We just had a different approach to practice. [Orton] demands what he wants out of us," rookie Sammy Watkins said. "He's more of a veteran guy. The way he talked, the way he handles business, the way he looks at plays and breaks down defenses, it's kind of different than EJ.

"He reads it quicker, the ball is coming out faster. That's just some things that we have to adjust to."

Fellow receiver Robert Woods saw the same.

"His directness in the huddle, telling us what to look for and be ready for when we're breaking the huddle when he calls the play," Woods noticed of Orton.
Two of the happiest guys in the NFL right now.

Yeah, the only reason I got DirecTV in the first place was because of Sunday Ticket, and if they got rid of it or if the NFL had made it available to more carriers I would have at least considered changing providers.
