I've read that he can be very moody and rub people the wrong way in locker rooms. Interesting move by the Jets. They are certainly a better offense now than they were a earlier today.

I like it too. If he doesn't fit in they can walk away and lets' face it, they weren't going to use that pick to draft a good WR.

Absolutely. At the very least it lets them take a good long look at what they have in Geno Smith with a reasonable set of WRs . Decker has been great when he's healthy, Kerley is OK, the rest of them are just bodies filling roster spots.

At first I was shocked to see the trade, but after a few moments it made sense. The Seahawks are very much attitude / atmosphere driven, and they aren't going to let a player - no matter how good - get in the way of that. They have an amazing group of guys and these types of small issues usually have a way of festering and becoming serious issues. I'm happy for Harvin that he got his ring and helped them in the SB last year.

Like someone else said - traded twice in his prime? That is not a coincidence. Hopefully he fits in well with the Jets, but a bigger city, with a worse team, with a worse quarterback and a grueling, relentless media? Doesn't seem like that will work out too long. I just hope he gets his "issues" or whatever it may be that sent him out the door to two teams already resolved and that nothing significant comes of his attitude.

Trade details have been released. Harvin traded for a conditional sixth and as high as a fourth. Very good trade with these terms.

A source tells the Seattle Times that Percy Harvin got into an altercation with Golden Tate during Super Bowl week last season, resulting in a black eye for Tate.

This confirms an initial report from The Sideline View's Lance Zierlein. A source also tells the Seattle Times that Harvin had an altercation with Doug Baldwin in August that resulted in Baldwin getting a cut on his chin. A final straw was reportedly Harvin balking about going back into last week's game against Dallas, possibly angry over not being used more early on. Zierlein was told "Harvin's anger issues are just too much to deal with and he could single handedly bring down team chemistry."

It seems his issues are on the field

Plus it seems some of his teammates were unhappy with this trade. I heard Lynch almost didn't get on the team bus because of it.

I think it a little strange that none of this information about his problems come out until the day he is traded. Reminds me of the Desean Jackson incident in the offseason....

You would think punching a teammate on Super Bowl Weekend would have made headlines...

Yep! Say what you want about Suh, but from what I gather he's one helluva a teammate. I can't recall hearing one instance of Suh fighting with his teammates. The same, definitely, cannot be said about Harvin. Who sounds like a total turd!
