Yup pretty brutal. I'm 2nd in 2 leagues 3rd in another, and in that league I'm 8th. Also have AJ Green, which is probably why I picked up Dalton.

7th right now but with a win over the 3rd place team in the money league I'm playing in I'd move to 5-5 after a 1-4 start and 4th place. Very good run yes but I add the disclaimer that most of the guys in this league don't seem to know what they're doing.

The Bungles are back! I hope Leah still had a good experience at the game!

I'm surprised West didn't go over 100, just to screw with me!!

You stay classy Jeremy Hill:

Quote:
Asked whether the Browns were better than he previously thought, Hill said, "Oh no, not at all. They're probably worse than I thought, to be honest with you."

He didn't stop there.

"They didn't do anything special to me," Hill continued. "I mean, respect to them, they won the game. But that's all I'll give them."
Jeremy Hill is probably one of the worst people in the league (look up his past) so nothing he says could lower his opinion of him to me, but by declaring the Browns worse than he thought it just makes the Bengals look worse after getting beaten down at home by them.

Browns spanked the bengals. Huge improvement in the current Browns. I've basically prayed to the football gods for at least an 8-8 season almost every year. I wasn't asking for super bowls, I just wanted to see them not be terrible.

Best case senerio, josh gordan returns and sparks the Browns offense and frees up the running game. Browns go 11-5 and make the playoffs. Worst case senerio Browns finish 8-8 and people are demanding Manziel after a disappointing 2nd half of the season.

Usually by this point in the season I'm so disgusted with the Browns that I have a hard time watching entire games. Yes some of the teams they have beaten are bad but the Browns of years past would have found a way to lose those games.

At one point in the season people were saying the bengals were the best team in the AFC, well the browns just beat a division rival on the road who's made the playoff 3 years running. They crushed the steelers who have been on a roll ever since the Browns embaressed them. Also beat the saints who have shown some improvement lately. So not all wins are againt bad teams.

Looks like the Browns have their coach. Looks like they have the talent on both sides of the ball. The beat down football fan in me whispers that it's all going to fall apart but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

What happens if they keep rolling? Brian Hoyer is 9-3 in his last 12 starts. Does he get a raise? Does that mean Johnny is holding a clipboard for another year or two, or do they trade him?

Must be a great feeling, hopefully one day in my lifetime I'll be able to post something similar about the Raiders

I've read that if the Browns resign Hoyer then Manziel will be traded. That is still a big if though, Haslem seems to be in the Manziel camp.

The Johnny talk hasn't stopped since he was drafted. At this point the Browns are off to their best start since 1994. That says it all. If Hoyer continues to win at this rate I can't see the browns making the move to Manziel. We do have a history of injured QBs. Since the Browns return in 99 only tim couch has played a full 16 game season which he did once. Hoyer himself suffered a injury that kept him out for 10+ games last year.

I say we keep Manziel and let him sit. Give hoyer a raise and sooner or later if Manziel is up to it he will get a chance to prove himself. Hoyer is winning but he's not doing it with impressive stats. He keeps it up I'm sure he's going to get a nice contract but nothing insane. If hoyer starts to fall apart then we have a highly touted QB waiting in the wings who's had time to learn and adjust to the NFL game.

For now I'm sick of hearing about Manziel. Here in Cleveland for the last 15 years there has always been some QB sitting on the bench who a large portion of the media and fanbase insists is better then the guy starting. When the pressure mounts and that QB plays all they have done is poop their pants.

I don't think you can have both there next year without being a big distraction. He's Johnny Football, the media is going to be talking about him, and that isn't fair to Hoyer if you give me a new contract.

I think letting Manziel sit for a while would be great. He needs it.

If the Browns can get to 10 wins (which they've only done once in 20 years) with Hoyer, I think the fanbase would be fine with letting Johnny sit. Might shut up the talking heads too...maybe.

It's a big distraction right now. Every time hoyer struggles it seems like everyone in the city is talking Manziel. If it comes down to it and hoyer finishes the year strong I just can't see how they could let hoyer go for a guy that is completely unproven.

In a perfect world they would tell hoyer he is the man but also tell him that if he wants to continue playing for the Browns (hometown team, the team that gave him a chance) that he has to live with Manziel as his backup. It also wouldnt hurt to offer him more money then anyone else. Continuing to win will sort all of this stuff out and solve all of hoyers problems. But there is still a half a season of football to play and they need to worry about this in the off season.

Forcing a trade for Manziel isn't going to put the Browns in a better position to win. Forcing a trade would only lower the potential value of a trade and put the Browns in a weaker position going forward.

1. We need a backup in cleveland (history of injuried QBs)
2. Can't throw away first round picks. Without seeing what they can do. Of course an offer of a first round pick for Johnny could solve this problem.
3. Don't know for sure how good hoyer is going to be.

Yes hoyer has been very good over the course of the small sample size of starting. But I haven't see enough yet. I think by the end of the year a much clearer picture will work itself out.

Maybe the best pick six all year. That a linebacker made this play is ridiculous.

Sunday is going to be a busy day for me. Most importantly, my daughter is getting baptized in the morning. I'm so excited for that.

I'm really amped up for our game in the afternoon. Big game for my Bills. The Watkins injury is a concern, hopefully he can still be effective.

The downside is that we're going to have about 15 people at our house during the game. And most of them are Eagles fans.

Let's go Buffalo!!!

Lucky for them that they are. Because if both were 1:00pm kickoffs, the Bills game would be on our TVs.

Congratulations on the baptism

Watkins is Questionable, didn't practice again. I'm guessing he sits, but for the sake of my fantasy team, I hope he plays.

Thanks, man.

It's a tough decision to make. We need him for the rest of the season, especially with a short week coming up. But he is a game changer. Wonderful weapon to have in our arsenal. If it's close, I'm sure he sits. You can't risk making it worse.
