haha it's a double standard, the thing with Cutler, they'd never say the same thing about Manning or Brady

people were joking about that guy that didn't fight hard enough for brady's pass last year would get cut
and the offensive coordinator whoever his name was would get fired for arguing with brady

Hakeem Nicks (foot) has been downgraded to out for Thursday's game against the Panthers.
Nicks didn't even make the trip to Carolina. It's a big surprise, as both Nicks and coach Tom Coughlin were on the record as expecting he'd play before he was listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report. That would suggest Nicks suffered a setback, but it's possible the Giants were being disingenuous all along in an effort to keep the Panthers on their toes. As it is, the Giants will now be forced to roll with Rueben Randle and Ramses Barden behind Victor Cruz with Domenik Hixon (concussion) also out. Cruz could be in for a monster night. We suspect Nicks' chances of playing would have been far greater if not for the short week.

Jets should of used some more Tebow runs when Greene went down, don't know why they didn't. He had the longest carry of the game on his first touch of the ball.

Both team lost points had a few late hits, but the degree to which the rams played I felt was different, regardless they looked very as usual redskins, but with the exception of RG3 again looking like a stud (more yards then Mcfad/CJ2k combined )

worst part is ESPN is doing this story saying it was Finnley is the one who said it.....but it was actually his agent.

i haven't been able to find anything where it says the agent was speaking for Finnley.

The perception seems to be flags are flying indiscriminately. And yet:

• The average number of penalties per game is down from 15.2 to 14.7.

• On player-safety calls, such as roughing the passer; unnecessary roughness, including hitting defenseless players; and, face-mask or horse-collar violations, the calls are nearly even: 75 this year, 74 last.

• Instant replay reviews are way up, an increase of 16. But the percentage of reversals is way down: 23 this year out of 62 as opposed to 21 of 46 in 2011.

• Defensive pass interference and illegal contact penalties are up, but only from 48 to 51, surprising because of the hubbub raised on the airwaves about the lack of such calls.

Offensive players believe the replacements are concentrating on pass interference penalties against them, not against defensive backs. The numbers: six such calls this season to nine through two weeks last year.

On SportsNation today it was explicitly clear it was his agent, if that helps at all. I'm in GB, Finnley has gotten a ton of flack the past 12months from fans and local media. He just needs to drop that agent now to save some face while the gettings good.

I'm not debating any of that. But many people are saying they are making bad calls, which isn't really accurate. They are making administrative errors, but the good/bad calls are just as good/bad as previously.

Also you can't double zero and get one.
