Innocent until proven guilty? It's a criminal offense for which he hasn't had a trial. League won't do anything until after then, but it's doubtful he'll miss any time.

And Turner is 30 years old and I believe his first offense. It sounds like a one time slip-up to me.

At the very least he had been drinking and speeding excessively. That alone should be enough to sit out a few quarters.

What's with the Denver defense this year? Tebow looked so miraculous last year because the D kept them in the games. But this year the D is just giving up a lot of points.

I'm not saying he is innocent, but unless you are a repeat offender, the league will wait for the courts to act before they do. In this case, it's a first-time offender. After he pleads no contest, he'll get a 2-game fine and be put in the substance abuse program. Unless the Falcons decide to do their own punishment, he won't miss any time.

Heyward-Bey took a vicious helmet-to-chin shot from Steelers safety Ryan Mundy while going across the back of the end zone in the fourth quarter. He looked to have been knocked out on the play and may have even been unconscious before he hit the ground. It's safe to assume that he will miss the remainder of Sunday's game. DHB was strapped to a gurney and wheeled off, while giving a thumbs-up to the Oakland crowd.
