Yeah now the teams can't use replacement refs as scapegoats when they lose.

I disagree on the frequency of bad call mistakes. Those will be relatively unchanged. Calls will be missed, and bad flags will be thrown. But we won't have any more 2 hour quarters (see Falcons/Broncos MNF 1st quarter).

Agree to disagree. The bad calls were nonstop with the scabs.

No just a well refed well paced game ... I think I'm crazy, but it just seems so fluid maybe the players are used to the down time between plays and series from the other refs.

there's numerous articles about games from the 1990's (and earlier) where refs (err, "regular refs") made terrible calls that decided games.

hell, just a few years ago that really buff ref called that play against Denver wrong and cost them the game. that could maybe be looked at as worse than the Seatle / GB call because the ref in the Denver game WAS FIVE FEET AWAY.

They arent perfect but they are and will be much better than scab refs. They screw up pretty much every game and its non stop bashing due to numerous bad calls. The regular refs are far from being like that. Im glad we had regular refs tonight. Got Em!!

Are you seriously saying there aren't lots of people complaining about the refs after EVERY football game?

I'm not saying the replacements were better, but EVERY game has at least one referee mistake, and at least once a year, a team loses a game because of it.

I sure am. There arent mistakes in every single game and if there are they are very minimal if u are counting every single game. Dude we had these scabs for only 4 weeks and it seemed like they did a full season worth of damage. I have never felt that way about the real refs. Also I dont mind a missed call here or there but these colossal calls from scabs just wont cut it. Peace out scabs! Its over so we dont need to even continue to talk about those scrubs! Got Em!!

Because they put every single blown call on TV. They never did that with the regular refs. And there was one colossal call. But the perfect Ed Hochuli has never had one of those

The refs called a stupid unsportsmanlike flop at the end of the game. If the Browns win, then we'd be hearing about that nonstop.

Weeden wasn't that bad, if the receivers could actually catch balls, he'd have like 400+ yards and the Browns might win that game.
