Jets couldn't even get that for Sanchez. No team would trade for Sanchez due to his $8.25 million guaranteed salary for next season. The Jets will either have to keep Sanchez or cut him and pay him the $8.25 million, which would be a salary cap hit of $17 million due to his signing bonus.

Sanchez is stuck in NY until after next year, it is what it is. If they could protect him he might not be so bad.

Which is why Tanny should be fired. How can you guarantee his contract as well as Wayne Hunter's? And that albatross of a contract for Santonio Holmes

They just gave him a new 3 years deal with something like $20 mill guaranteed earlier this year. They'd have to eat that as it seems unlikely any team would take that contract on.

That's why the NFL is the best sport in the game. The only thing stopping a team from improving is themselves. I'm sick of teams in other sports winning all the time just because they spend the most money.

Even the Yankees postseason games can't compete with the NFL. Last night's Yankees playoff game lost out to the Jets-Texans game with a rating nearly 20% higher.

Tebow had the best throw of the night. Right on the money and receiver couldn't catch it. They need to get him throwing some long bombs at least.
