Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie is being sued by Charles “Pop” Young, the father of rapper Trick Daddy, for $375,000 for money Young allegedly loaned McKinnie to spend at south Florida strip clubs between February 2009 and September 2010. McKinnie denies ever borrowing the money and said Young had tried to borrow money from him.

Well, regardless of whether you think he's "tossing" this year...this isn't his free agency year.

Romo's contracted next year already.

As much crap as I give him, I'd take Romo over Flacco any day.

And it got me to thinking. Why would Romo want to return to this Cowboys team? He has no help whatsoever other than Witten (and _maybe_ Austin).

Maybe it's time for Romo to give the Cowboys the finger and go somewhere else, because when it comes down to it, it can't be worse for him. And somebody will want him, and unless it's the Jets his life will be much much happier.
Yep nothing but screaming fans, lmao it would be hilarious if he went to az, philly, exc. and they got better, and the cowboys sank.

I would love to have him on my team as well. He's a good quarterback.

I'd take Romo over Gabbert but tbh he is not the same as he was last year when he threw for 31 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions. If he has a bad first half against the Falcons they need to give him the hook, possibly for multiple games and see what Orton can do. Granted I dislike Orton and think Romo is the better option but either Romo is no longer good enough to help this team win or there's something wrong with him mentally. Or both. Way too many bad decisions in critical situations and way too many passes straight to the defender.

I forgot you guys have Orton. I bet if Orton takes over he'll play well for a game or so then he'll struggle just like he did before he departed Denver.

As for Gabbert he doesn't turn the ball over. It's the those damn passes under 10 yards that makes our offense look terrible by the numbers.

I think had Romo been given everything Aikman was he'd have FAR FAR better stats than Aikman did.

Some players can only play with so much before they lose, and like I see with RG3, and like we saw with McNabb in the early years they can put up with a ton, where other guys might have broke.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Lions have acquired WR/PR Mike Thomas from the Jaguars in exchange for undisclosed considerations.
It's an understandable trade from Jacksonville's point of view. Thomas failed to endear himself to Mike Mularkey's coaching staff, wasn't worthy of his $4.95 million in salary and bonuses and had fallen far emerging go-to receiver Cecil Shorts. Although Thomas will provide depth in Detroit at wide receiver and punt returner, he doesn't figure to be a threat to Ryan Broyles' slot receiver role. Broyles has impressed since Nate Burleson went down two weeks ago. With an average of 11 targets, six receptions and 97.5 yards the past two weeks, Shorts should be added in 12-team leagues.

This is the part I disagree with. He is the same player. He has a _worse_ offense, and I wouldn't have thought that was possible last year.

When do I make mistakes at work? When I'm under extreme pressure and have no help.

Take the 4th interception from the game Sunday. The Giants rushed 4. All 4 guys beat the O-line. ALL FREAKING 4. And none of his receivers came back to give him an out.

And it's not like the pressure on Romo ends when he's off the field. He has to listen to everyone call him a bad player, who's the sole reason why Dallas sucks.

Jaguars WR Mike Thomas just traded him to the Lions for an undisclosed draft pick. Makes me wonder what round we got to give up Mike Thomas.

Well, Mike Thomas will be happy at the NFC North. His production here the past 2 seasons declined because he barely gets the ball thrown to him, and when he does, he'll drop it because the ball is either thrown too hard or not in position. Mike Thomas can be explosive in the slot position when he has a good QB to throw it to in Matthew Stafford. I think it's a gain for the Lions, but not sure how this will help us any until we see officially what draft pick we've traded for.

The Jaguars receive the Lions' 2014 5th round pick

5th Round? That doesn't make sense!

No matter what pick we have, we always waste it. Like how we drafted a punter in the 3rd round.
