Anything to back that up? It was mentioned in a blurb in USA Today a couple weeks ago but in the link below a writer went through all the sources and it ended up being Kurt Warner's opinion that Favre would be good on the show.

The players know it is now or never for getting a bigger slice of the pie. It would not surprise me if a lockout does occur this time around. I think the 18-game schedule is a posturing tactic by the NFL, something they will use as a concession to the other side when negotiating.

The Jets have cut center Damien Woody and nose tackle Kris Jenkins, and sources say they have also cut linebacker Jason Taylor and epic bust defensive end Vernon Gholston. Gholston was the 6th pick in the 2008 draft but has no career sacks and was inactive for the Jets playoff games. The moves save the Jets about $13.5 million in 2011 and should help them in their attempt to re-sign free agents Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, and Antonio Cromartie.

Hines Ward is doing Dancing With the Stars this spring. Ward is the third active NFL player to do the show, following in the footsteps of Jason Taylor and Chad Ochocinco.

“Do you think Jay Cutler gave up?” he reportedly shouted which was stated in a police report.

The officer said that when she attempted to detain the suspect, he responded by hitting her in the throat with his free hand, according to the report obtained by the paper. She was able to subdue the suspect by tackling him until another officer was able to put him in restraints.

The officer wrote in her report that she talked with the suspect who said he did this because, “no one listens to him and he thought it would get everyone’s attention,” according to the paper.

I don't watch the NFL combine, but some of the news coming out of there is impressive. I don't know who the Chiefs will be taking now at #21. I cannot wait to the draft!

I've watched allot of it and this could be a draft where people get passed over because not allot of guys stand out, and there is some depth to this draft so that helps allot.

I'd love to see the Chiefs trade that pick maybe a second and next years 3rd to move up to our 10 spot

From what I am thinking/reading, Pioli may trade down, and pick up an additional pick for the second and a later round because of the depth and lack of standout players. Who knows though.

Thats what I'd do with this draft isn't like 09 where pro bowl guys like Orakpo, Cushing, Matthews, Mack, and Harvin are all there at 13-32... And even the non-pro bowl guys from that draft have looked great.

Only the Redskins are dumb enough to trade away most of their draft for a top 10 pick.

There's no way Pioli would want to trade away much of his draft to get a higher pick. He knows from his time with the Patriots that the way to be successful is to build through the draft.

But hopefully we find someone that stupid

And they'd only trade away half the draft for a bad player not for someone like Matt Ryan, or Bradford.

Agreed. Looking at Pioli's past, he seems to want to acquire more picks, not lose them.
