Oh boy. Not really. You don't get it. Minnesota also plays @KC, @SD, and @ATL. The Bears have all of those teams at home. So much for that 1st place schedule.

I do get it. Minnesota will finish with a better record then Chicago. That is what this conversation has been about.

So who's gonna take him now?

I think he could go to the Raiders. They will need him soon enough.

Can you say Tampering !!

What a dufus.
Hey at least the Lions are trying now lol it is much better than overcompensating FA for there services at least people want to play here now. So not going to complain.

I doubt Pryor will fit Shanahans scheme, then again they just dumped a top 10 QB to Minn for almost nothing so who knows. Your front office almost makes the Millen years in Det look like a godsend.

I remember when this thread used to be a good source of information. Now it's a bunch of fanboys ruining this thread. Knock it off.

I know what I'm about to say may not happen, but I think the Cardinals (yes I said the Cardinals) will make the playoffs in Kolb's 1st year.

It's no surprise really. The NFC West is going to be up for grabs again. I just hope a 10-6 team wins the division.

They should've gotten a WR in FA to go alongside Fitz cause he'll get double or sometimes triple covered.

Says the Jaguars fan who will probably stop watching 1/4 of the way through the season =0) BTW who did you guys get to replace Durant? And with the Loss of Sims-Walker has the team even said what they plan to do to keep the pressure off MJD? Just curious as usualyl I draft MJD when I can in Fantasy but with everyone focusing on him now and with him coming off that surgery just wondering if he would be worth it still as a true number 1 back.

Depends I dont find Kolb to be that good a QB, look at him last year, when he was in he never threw to Desean Jackson. Kolb does not have the arm to handle a reliable deep threat. Sadly I think Fitz gonna suffer big time with Kolb at the helm. Teams know this and its why the Eagles let him go so easily.

I agree, and I don't get why the Cardinals didn't go after Braylon Edwards. The players were lobbying for him and they needed someone to replace Steve Breaston (who they should have re-signed). Arizona had plenty of cap room and could have gotten Braylon for a cheap one-year deal. Now all they have beside Fitz is career underachiever Early Doucet (who has never played a full season) and a bunch of no-name players.

They got Todd Heap. Don't count him out. I'm still pissed the Ravens let him go.

Jags sign former Colts LB Clint Simmons who is supposed to replace Durant.

As for Sims-Walker, he didn't live up to his potential and hype in Jacksonville. He's gifted, but not enough to stay healthy or make a name for himself. WR Mike Thomas took the job as of last season only in his 2nd year, and was able to make superb numbers than Sims-Walker.

As for MJD, he's always going to be MJD. You know he's going to get the ball and still produce even though defenses know it's coming. At least now TE Marcedes Lewis is playing some great ball to relieve some of that pressure on the running since our PA have become effective now. Regardless though, Jags will keep pounding the ball with MJD. He's tough, but he can't carry us every season because he's getting those nagging injuries that might hurt us like it did at the end of last season.

More Lions news

Quote:
ALLEN PARK - The Detroit Lions' running back battle just heated up.

With rookie Mikel Leshoure lost for the season with a torn left Achilles tendon, the Lions signed free agent running backs Mike Bell and Jerome Harrison. Interestingly, Bell and Harrison were traded for each other last year in a swap that involved the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles.

As a Colts fan, I always hate when we face him, he always hurt us at times. We should've drafted him, but our goofball GM passed him up.

Haha. I do remember that someone said the Colts had a chance to draft MJD. Who did they draft instead? Was it Joseph Addai? I can't remember.

You're right though. MJD, and Fred Taylor always put a hurting on you guys when we played. It doesn't matter though. Manning always had the last laugh.

Colts took Addai at 30 in that Draft MJD went 60 and the Colts took Tim Jennings 62 overall in the 2nd Round
